Fox News host Tucker Carlson joined my radio program this week, and he had a lot to say on an array of subjects. We discussed the ratings success of his show and his methodology for preparing each episode (he shuts out social media, but is in touch with a large network of friends and sources via text). The topic of Carlson's self-identified flaws arose in the context of how he feels about his haters, especially those who toil endlessly to get him fired or forced off the air. In response to an outrageous anti-Fox smear from a progressive MSNBC opinion host, Carlson dropped the hammer:

I also asked him about a new poll showing that a plurality of Americans do not believe President Biden has the mental fitness for the job. What Carlson revealed in response is noteworthy:
I know a bunch of members of his family and some a couple of them very well. And I knew for a fact that certain members of the family were very concerned about his cognitive ability. They didn’t expect him to get the nomination. Nobody did. And he got it and they were freaked out about it. That’s...I’m not speculating. I know that for a fact. So I knew that the family believed he was in cognitive decline. So there’s that and that’s news. That’s news.

You make some very good points. Brandon could stay in his basement and apeal to Democrats that want the government to control their lives. By staying in and not campaigning those people who distrust Trump’s handling of Covid thought Brandon was “following the science”. My family members who are White Suburban Women, all were warming to DJT but when media started the Fauci is a God, we must obey, Brandon looked like a savior. Now all the facts are out on the open Brandon looks like the dummy and demented fool. Too late for my White Suburban Women who pulled the lever for Sleep Joe.
It was because they wanted Trump out and didn’t want Bernie Sanders in, and couldn’t find anybody else who could do that. I guess it’s possible that Obama could have done that if he could have run again, but while there was a lot of enthusiasm for Obama in the beginning, there wasn’t much enthusiasm for him in particular at the end.

Joe Biden, Unlike Trump, Didn’t Take Cognitive Test in Annual Exam, Sanjay Gupta Says

President Joe Biden is considered perfectly fit for duty after a physical exam Friday, according to a report from the president’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor.
Additionally, the president, unlike his immediate predecessor, did not undergo a test of his cognitive abilities, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta said.
During an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Anderson Cooper 360, Gupta was asked if Biden had taken any type of exam to measure his mental state.
“There’s been a lot of focus on his cognitive abilities, questions raised by opponents and others, and in 2018 the former president [Donald Trump] had a test that measured mental acuity, was that part of today’s test?” Cooper asked Gupta.
“It doesn’t seem like it,” Gupta replied. “I read pretty carefully through the doctor’s report and they mention neurological exam, but that was more in terms of testing motor strength and sensation and things like that.”
