Matt Gaetz says that Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse ‘deserves a not guilty verdict’ in his murder trial and that the accused vigilante ‘would probably make a pretty good congressional intern.’
‘We may reach out to him and see if he’d be interested in helping the country in additional ways,’ the Republican congressman who represents Florida’s western Panhandle told Newsmax on Wednesday.
Jury deliberations in the Rittenhouse trial entered their third day on Thursday.

I don’t think so. Fat and chubby, homely mom. Probably as troubled as Bernie Goetz. Unfortunately we need people like that-not afraid to grab the bull by the horns + take the arrows/heat. Zimmerman the white hispanic was the same. You support them but you don’t want to get too involved afterwards. They’re lives are forever affected for taking the stand the rest of us are unwilling to take.
I often chuckle when Gaetz trolls the left, but he should just leave the kid alone because this does not help Kyle or the situation.
I doubt he will have a “normal life” again, but he deserves the best opportunity for one and being a mascot for this person or that one will not help.

I like that. Now, all we have to do is wait and see if the jury caves into the threats and intimidation, and if the judge declares a mistrial with prejudice.

There aren't an Congressional Interns or, as they were known, Congressional Pages. That program was done away with some years ago. What internships are available now are short term and, I believe, restricted to college students. But Goetz could just put Rittenhouse on his payroll as a staff aide.
Kyle will be too busy raking in the millions he’ll win after suing half the media. He and Sandmann should go into business together.
