Rupert Murdoch urged former President Donald Trump to focus on the issues facing Americans today and in the future, rather than on relitigating the 2020 election.
“The current American political debate is profound, whether about education or welfare or economic opportunity,” Murdoch, executive chairman of News Corp., said on Wednesday during the company’s annual meeting of stockholders.
“It is crucial that conservatives play an active, forceful role in that debate, but that will not happen if President Trump stays focused on the past.”
Ever since President Biden’s victory, Trump has insisted that the election was “rigged” and that he really won. The claim culminated in the Jan. 6 insurrection, when Trump supporters broke into the Capitol to try to stop Biden’s certification as president.

now that its been proven that the whole russia thing was a hoax and people are being arrested..
of course it’s time to move on!
smh
The 2020 Presidential Election was STOLEN by the democrat party - don’t let this go without punishing them!
Tend to your own affairs, Mr. Foreigner
You’re not an American.
Murdoch crapping himself over his role in The Steal and Trump winning in 2024.
The 2020 election is the future!
Why do people insist that all Trump will talk about is the 2020 election? He definitely is not doing that now. And unless there is no warning, it will make it easier for the democrats to steal the election of 2024 (if we are still here as a viable nation.) The goal of the Biden administration is to make sure we are not.
At least Trump is discussing grievances from this millennium, the Dems are still fixated on the 1600s ...
Murdoch is DS. Murdoch’s FNC was in on the steal Election Night when they called Arizona for Biteme waaay early, etc., etc.
That is a silly recommendation, Trump already has some time focused on the future, especially in 2024
Why should Trump listen? Fox was a propaganda tool of the RINO establishment. They did all they could to harm Trump.
Look! A squirrel!
Look! A squirrel!
2020, so last year! Trump is right more often than not in his assessment of things and he’s right about the rigged election. Don’t let it go because that is core to the survival of a nation. Btw, if you go back and watch the RNC convention you’ll be shocked that one of the main themes was school choice (again, Trump ahead of his time). Fast forward a year and it’s all the rave.
Not sure what’s up with the duplicate posts...I’ve seen quite a few lately. Admin mods any idea?
No
Actually Fox and friends had President on very often and gave him nearly an hour to say what ever he wanted. His frequent access to the program was without precedent
Why not both. Donald Trump seems to be a fantastic multitasker
Seriously, the things President Trump needs to focus on prior to the 2022 election are:
1) To insure it isn’t as corrupt as the 2020 election. There have been some moves in this direction, but the Republicans need to institutionalize it.
2) A second Trump administration will have twice or more times the goals of his first administration. A Herculean effort to purge large parts of the federal government of corrupt and politicized employees. Agency after agency needs to be systematically bleached and scrubbed.
Entire offices of the federal government need to be closed, and this presents a great opportunity. First transfer the bad apples to these offices before closing them. Thus, they are not “fired”, a long and arduous process, just jobless.
It is definitely worth it to continue to pay them their salaries, as long as they no longer hold any levers of power.
The restoration of the military will be a major priority, so the Biden weakness does not make us vulnerable to war. So a LOT of senior officers will need to be fired, and much scrutiny given to their replacements. A second Trump term should signal a definitive end to social engineering in the ranks.
Every Democrat federal prosecutor should be fired and replaced ASAP.
This is a very, very long list.
“This statement from Murdoch tells me all I need to know. “
Without regard to Murdoch, if Trump wants to win the next election he needs avoid vote-losing subjects.
