The famous philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal once declared that "the only shame is to have none." The problem with shame is it assumes a sense of guilt over one's actions. In the age of rage, there appear fewer and fewer actions that are beyond the pale for politics.
Take Adam Schiff and the Steele dossier. While even the Washington Post has admitted that it got the Russian collusion story wrong in light of the findings of Special Counsel John Durham, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is still insisting that he was absolutely right to promote the discredited Steele dossier.
Schiff was one of the greatest promoters of the Steele dossier despite access to briefings casting doubt about Steele and the underlying claims. However, Schiff recently has attempted to defend himself by claiming that Steele was a respected former spy and that he was lied to by a Russian source.
"I don't regret saying that we should investigate claims of someone who, frankly, was a well-respected British intelligence officer. And we couldn’t have known, of course, years ago that we would learn years later that someone who is a primary source lied to him. [Igor] Danchenko lied to Christopher Steele and then lied to the FBI. He should be prosecuted. He is being prosecuted. And I'll tell you this, if he's convicted, he should not be pardoned the way Donald Trump pardoned people who lied to FBI agents, like Roger Stone and Mike Flynn. There ought to be the same standard in terms of prosecuting the liars. But I don't think there ought to be any pardon, no matter which way the lies cut."
Schiff's spin is enough to cause permanent vertigo.

Schiff, a publicity hog, was the rank promoter of the Steele dossier despite his access to Intel briefings casting doubt about the claims.
Schiff is now in his “who knew?” stage and has attempted to defend himself by claiming that Steele was a respected former spy and that he was lied to by a Russian source.
No top official..DIM or RINO.. is EVER going to jail.
Just like all of the overreaching government departments..most of them..will be ended.
Not only is there way to much greed and corruption but there is no genuine will within to do anything about it.
The best we can hope for is they resign.
And even then the odds are good that the next person won’t be much better.

So Schiff is now on the record in favor of jail time for Comey, Clapper, Clinton, Rice and the whole gang, with no pardons. I’m good with that, too.

The polarization of the nation has allowed for the bold, shameless lies to be touted.
Because most on the left get their information from leftist sources, they still think Trump paid prostitutes to pee on Obama’s bed, they still think Mitt Romney never paid income taxes, they still think Rittenhouse crossed state lines to murder peaceful black protesters....etc, etc, etc.
For some inexplicable (to me, anyway) reason, sociopaths work their way into the upper reaches of political power.

Schiff said he had insider knowledge which proved collusion. He lied.
These people are nutz and every day I wonder what new depths of lowness still need to be plumbed.... Yesterday I watched the censure of Rep. Paul Gosar and wondered what was so bad that it elicited this action. It took some time to find the actual video that triggered the Dem-Rat response... that was the first clue about what to expect.
So supposedly this video depicts the killing of AOC. Really? Take a look at it and see if you think this is something that warrants censure.... as a matter of fact, see if you can find the supposed ‘depicted murder’.
The purpose of the entire sham was to destroy President Trump. Democrats and Republicans and the entire DC establishment conspired to destroy him and shut his supporters out of the process of deciding the direction of this country. We are not free, we do not have a voice, we are shut out and we are attacked every day. Does this sound like a representative republic to you?
Most likely, if more Americans awaken, the republicans will win both houses of congress and Trump will be back in the WH in Jan 25 BUT......
Do not expect a flush of Washington DC. The GOP will play along to get along as long as the pork keeps flowing their way regardless of what Trump wants. There is only one way that the shysters in government will be removed, and that way ain't pretty!
The Dem’s can’t and won’t disown Schiff and the whole massively corrupt and cynical Russia hoax. This will only add to the beat-down they have coming next fall.
