BOISE (AP) — A bill making it easier for Idaho residents to get worker compensation if they become ill after taking an employee-mandated vaccine sailed through the House and headed for the Senate.
The measure passed the House on a 67-3 vote.
“If the employer is telling you, you have to do this in order to work here, if they’re doing that, then, by golly, I think our system ought to provide a fair compensation method,” Democrat Rep. John Gannon said.
Also heading to the Senate was a bill that would prohibit questioning the sincerity of people claiming religious exemptions from vaccinations. It passed 46-24 despite concerns it was merely a way for people to claim a religious exemption without any type of religious faith.
“By attempting to elevate those things to the level of religiosity, you don’t elevate them at all,” Republican Rep. Greg Chaney said. “You lower the sacredness of what it means to claim a religious exemption. What it means to have a sincerely held faith.”
Also heading to the Senate, on a 42-28 vote, was a bill that allows exemptions to mask mandates in schools. Backers said that would put parents in charge, while opponents said local officials should be allowed to make decisions depending on the level of COVID-19 infections and deaths in an area.
Another bill aimed at preventing discrimination based on vaccine status passed the House 48-22.
How about making the employers requiring the vaccine compensate the victims poisoned by the ‘vaccines’ rather than making the poor beleaguered taxpayers do it????
I hope statists take it in the pants for the next millenium. Meanwhile, ask your County Clerk, who has sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution, whether he/she will allow leftists on a ballot in defiance of his/her oath.
You just said what I had planned to post.
It’s not a vaccine, and the manufacturer of it must be held accountable.
Unfortunately, our rulers in D.C. have indemnified the manufacturers from being sued for damages from their poisons.
In Pennsylvania, employers can obtain workers’ compensation insurance through a licensed insurance carrier or the State Workers’ Insurance Fund. In addition, employers can apply to the bureau to seek approval to self-insure their liability. Self-insurance is granted by the bureau based on criteria established by the act and the department.>>> depends on the state but the company pays for the insurance. and if they have to pay out compensation which they rarely do, then their premiums are effected. Liability must be passed to the companies that require the vaccine. I think $5-$10M lifetime guaranteed benefit and all healthcare costs covered for life. Absnet realy liability the only thing that will stop the company mandates is a bunch of CEO’s and high ranking officers all get reactions and die etc..
Yes. And to take it a step further in the direction of those creating the potential harm, the Federal Government should pay rather than the State.
And again, those actually responsible for causing the harm aren’t punished, the taxpayers are.
Oklahoma is doing the same thing.
Actually, Oklahoma is making provision for the employer to be liable and not the taxpayer directly but we all pay for these stupid political decisions.
Their pee poor governor will probably veto it
If only the Republicans would fight for us as much as the Democrats fight for themselves.
House Bill 417. All 1 page of it.

Reads like a paper tiger to me.
That’s no real protection.
And if you read H417, that makes it clear they have no intention of protecting ID’s citizenry.
employers pay workmans comp insurance
just one more reason that the cost of living will be going up
WORKMEN’S COMP IS PAID FOR BY EMPLOYERS
We need to be sequestering the funds paid by CDC for hospitalization of CoVID cases, $50,000, for victims of the ‘jabs’. We should do the same for all funds collected from Fauci’ mRNA technology patent.
