A sniper in the DMZ missed 2 extractions so they sent a boat to pick him up in the middle of the night. They went flying down the river and hit a sandbar and got stuck and had to wait for morning. They heard things rustling in the jungle and opened fire. They noticed no return fire so they quit shooting. In the morning the officer in charge went into the jungle to see what happened. They had shot and killed a troop of monkies.

hmmm, I thought one never shoots until they see what they’re shooting at.
but the DMZ I guess one makes an exception.
