I get that. I really do. The problem is, we've been doing this for at least the 30 years I've been voting, and apparently longer, because I've had quite a few elders that were saying the things I'm saying to naive younger me, and I was saying the same as you. It just doesn't work. As long as that is how we roll when it comes to elections, we will always continue to get what we have now, and that is a piss poor excuse for a political party.

I know when he announced his big actions they did not prevent cities, schools or employers from mandates, has that changed? I am not a Texan I am a displaced Okie living in another communist utopia state due to circumstances beyond my control. Well not beyond my control exactly, it just that it would cause major disruption in family so I conceded but I wish I hadn't.

Preventing bottom-up tyranny isn’t the Governor’s responsibility; it’s YOURS as a Citizen — all that “We, The People” and “consent of the governed” stuff they never teach in school anymore.
Get to the City Council meeting. Bring a busload.
Go give the County Board of Supes an earful.
Phone, email or — old school, WRITE — your State Representative and Senator; even the Governor.
The squeaky wheel... and you KNOW that strident Progressive harridan up the street is doing plenty of squeaking. So, get into the mix and guarantee that’s not the only voice Municipal government hears.
It’s only if there gets to be an outcry all over the State, the Governor might, then, see cause to examine the matter; and even then it has to fall into that “compelling state interest” type of category, and it’d be far better handled via State Legislation than by Executive Order.

These aren’t vaccines. Vaccines don’t break down after 5 months. Vaccines dont need bootsers. And the #1 clue its not a vaccine, vaccines don’t make you more susceptible to getting the virus you we vaccinated for! This shot is designed for 1 reason only, to break down your immune system to make you more susceptible to diseases and infections enough to kill you, period!
People that are in power via rigged elections owe the public nothing and they don't respond well to the riff raff.
Elections have been rigged since the first voting machines were installed in Chicago. Minority controlled cities have been rigged for decades.
How many here know the Republicans were barred from contesting elections because The Lion of the Senate decreed that all southern states were racist. They are now freed from that restraint, want to predict how they will react to their new freedom? I will save you the trouble nothing will change.
You sound like you think a vaccine stays in your body, waiting for a disease to come along so it can attack it.
Vaccines are not something that stay in your body, so the idea that they don’t “break down” is meaningless.
A vaccine triggers immune responses in a body. The body then remembers this immune response, to greater or lesser degrees, so that if a disease is encountered, the body “remembers” it, and can respond more quickly than if it had to create a defense on the spot.
The best “vaccine’ is the actual disease, as it is a perfect representation of the disease, so the body creates antibodies that are well-matched. Of course, you also get the disease, which might cause permanent damage before your body can respond.
All other vaccines are imperfect. Some are close to exact matches for a disease, to the point where they could actually give you the disease if they used ‘live’ virus.
Vaccines traditionally take a long time to create, because manufacturing a duplicate for a virus, but that is harmless, is hard work. Flu vaccine is “easy” because we already HAVE a flu vaccine, and just have to tweak it every year. Still takes time.
Anyway, these COVID vaccines are a new breed, where they just found a bunch of markers for COVID, and created a vaccine that has those markers, so your body creates ways to fight those markers. Since the markers are a subset of the actual disease, it is easier for mutations to change those parts and make YOUR ANTIBODIES less effective. Also, they way they trigger your immune system may be slightly different, providing less antibodies.
Of course, these are not the first vaccines to require boosters. many vaccines do require two shots just for the start, you take tetanus periodically, I just got boosters for several vaccines. And I get a flu shot every year, because of how quickly the flu mutates.
There is no indication that people who got vaccinated are more likely to get COVID. But people are very bad with statistics.
Apples and Oranges.
The virus is mutating, becoming more virulent, but slightly less lethal. That’s how viruses generally go, because the lethal strains kill their hosts, while the non-lethal ones go undetected and spread. Eventually, they are like the common cold, everybody can catch it, nobody dies of it.
In order to make sense of “deaths and hospitalizations are rising”, you have to look at how many people are being exposed, how many are showing signs of infection, and what variant is infecting.
You would find that we don’t do a great job of this, but the original variants are pretty much wiped out at this point, and the vaccinated are mostly getting infected with the newer variants, and of those who are “caught” as infected, a much smaller percentage of them are getting hospitalized and dying than of the group of unvaccinated who catch the same variant.
What really funny is you actually think this is a vaccine....tha wears off in a few months that requires a booster, then another booster and another booster. Name one other vaccine that requires that many boosters, and modifies a persons DNA?

We’re just not gonna stand by and let this happen. And so I just wanna be really really clear, this has been my position, this continues to be my position, that we in fact are going to respect the individual ability to make these decision with regards to the vaccine and particularly with parents’ ability to make decisions with regards to their children.”
