Conservatives have made gains on school boards across the U.S. this year, including in solidly Democratic counties, amid a growing parent revolt against Critical Race Theory and public health restrictions.
In Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Republicans flipped two school boards this month, gained seats on three others, and won several other local races, National Review reported. Montgomery County, a Democratic bastion near Philadelphia, voted for Joe Biden by more than 26 points in Pennsylvania’s notably error-plagued 2020 election.
The Republican victories came despite now-characteristic mail-in ballot issues, including printing errors that impacted around 25,000 ballots. Julia Vahey, the executive director of the Republican Committee of Montgomery County, said that she was not told about 9,000 “defective” ballots until the day after the election.
GOP candidates – most of them local parents – took over Montgomery County’s Perkiomen Valley and Boyertown School Boards often running against Critical Race Theory (CRT) and leftist ideology in classrooms. Many counted on backing from grassroots pro-freedom groups, like Back to School PA, actively working to rescind mask mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions.

“Montgomery County, a Democratic bastion near Philadelphia, voted for Joe Biden by more than 26 points”
Omg—the writer of the article if off the charts stupid.
Demographic analysis was set back a hundred years by the big steal.
Conservatives have made gains on school boards across the U.S. this year, including in solidly Democratic counties, amid a growing parent revolt against Critical Race Theory and public health restrictions.
MSM version:
Fascists have made gains on school boards across the U.S. this year, including in solidly Democratic counties, amid a rising tide of white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia and desire to re-enslave the black population.
Where “across the US” equals Pennsylvania, plus one school board in Colorado.
Oh yes, they are ‘Republicans’ Can’t let R parents get justice! &^%$^*
How about in NC? Has NC awakened or asleep...
Did you actually even read the article?
We flipped 2 of 3 open seats on our school board in Ohio.
This is why the dems want to break the parent/child bond; I doubt they will ever break it, but they’re trying.
My home Westmoreland County, a former Democratic bastion near Pittsburgh, which is now a Republican bastion had no error plagued problems because we actually followed the rules, allowed open counting of mail-in ballots and excluded those ineligible even though it took until the week-end after Thanksgiving to complete.
Oh yeah, we voted for Donald Trump by more than 28 points. Imagine that!
To the end
Awesome. I wish the article covered more than two States.
A huge movement is needed to get rid of the Marxist-agenda-driven textbooks that have been published over the past 30 years. That’s what is used in the classrooms. That’s what our children are being taught.
Textbook and children and teen and college level book and audiovisual publishers have been happy to publish lies; they are in the business of making money. Even their boards have been infiltrated by the very same propagandists, who represent domestic and allied international enemies of the West and of Judaic-Christian civilization. Islamic terrorism is not part of the curriculum. Attacking Christianity and its values is attacked. The U.S. is made into public enemy number 1 by these printed and online materials.
It needs to be safe and again attractive for people who love their country to rejoin the teaching field and to return to real history based on facts. Pride in country needs to be taught again. Traditional civics and the founding documents and their crucial importance in making the U.S (and Canada) what they are.
Enemies of the West have become professors and actively organized the writing of revisionist textbook content and te big publishes are happy to push new titles and the state offices of education go ahead and formally recommend the Leftist garbage and school system by the tens of thousands adopt the politicized message that are the substance.
So getting people elected to school board is an important step, but there is much they will need to do in addition to throwing out the bans on free speech. Competitions in history, civics, spelling, etc need to get re-established. High School ROTC returned. School trips to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, New York for junior high and high schoolers with solid accurate teaching content to go with that. They need to understand that the textbooks and library books that are the only choices for students and the teachers brainwashed in the teacher training programs and in their professional organizations are not going to get deprogrammed easily; that’s all they have ever known.
Don’t forget the dads.
Not every loss is a steal.
Montgomery County PA is a wokester cesspool. Demographically, it is very similar to Fairfax County, VA. It’s full of extremely wealthy, upper crust, nose in the air, champagne liberals. This is the class of people who have absolutely, without doubt trended toward the Democrats.
They look down their noses at the “deplorables” and are absolutely on board with the “woke” nonsense that is destroying society.
They voted for Obama and Hilliary! in massive margins as well.
It is difficult to simultaneously show extreme shifts toward the GOP from the working and middle class, without seeing some other backlash from the “elite” crowd that absolutely loathe the other two groups of people.
Then your post #6 :”Where “across the US” equals Pennsylvania, plus one school board in Colorado.”
is not correct. Read the whole article again by clicking the link.
