A Gallup survey of Americans shows that support for stricter gun control is at its lowest point since 2014.
The Gallup survey shows that 52 of Americans support stricter gun control.
When broken down by party, the greatest percentage of gun control support comes from Democrats.
For example, 24 percent of Republicans support stricter gun control, 45 percent of Independents, and 91 percent of Democrats.
And it is important to note 45 percent support for stricter gun control among Independents is actually 15 percent lower than the percentage of support among the same political group in 2020.
Gallup notes that support for a handgun ban is at its lowest point since surveys about such a ban began to be taken in 1959 as debate continues to surround weapons of all sorts and their place in society.

What we really need is Liberal Socialist Democrat Control and FBI Control.
I still remember when California proposed it’s first “A-s-s-ault rifle ban. they added lever action rifles to it.
The outcry was so bad the bill was shelved and the lever action ban was removed.
Then California released Pat Purdy from a mental institution, allowed him to buy guns illegally, even passing the waiting period.
He then shot up the Stockton School yard killing several students and himself.
The shelved ban was pulled out and passed so fast no opposition could be mounted against it.
Well then, it must be time for another school shooting.
Gun control has changed to procecuting the shooter even if used in a clear case of self defense, in the USSA.
Yeah the 1860’s.

That was in 1989, and Cowboy Shooting was the fastest growing shooting sport. Bad timing on California’s part.
