An estimated 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in one year, a never-before-seen milestone that health officials say is tied to the COVID-19 pandemic and a more dangerous drug supply.
Overdose deaths have been rising for more than two decades, accelerated in the past two years and, according to new data posted Wednesday, jumped nearly 30% in the latest year.
Experts believe the top drivers are the growing prevalence of deadly fentanyl in the illicit drug supply and the COVID-19 pandemic, which left many drug users socially isolated and unable to get treatment or other support.
The number is “devastating,” said Katherine Keyes, a Columbia University expert on drug abuse issues. “It’s a magnitude of overdose death that we haven’t seen in this country."

Not tied to the "plandemic" -- it's tied to government lockdowns which had nothing to do with the plandemic.
Just make up a story that people are using fentanyl, meth, OTC opioids, and heroin to treat COVID and that it works and put that out there. Then the government and the media will leap up to shut it all down with prejudice.
There is no agenda to push connected to these deaths. The political class and propaganda agents don’t care.

The CDC announced in July that there were 93,331 overdose deaths in the US in 2020.
Provisional data from CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics indicate that there were an estimated 93,331 drug overdose deaths in the United States during 2020, an increase of 29.4% from the 72,151 deaths predicted in 2019.
The data features an interactive web data visualization. The new data documents that estimated overdose deaths from opioids increased from 50,963 in 2019 to 69,710 in 2020. Overdose deaths from synthetic opioids (primarily fentanyl) and psychostimulants such as methamphetamine also increased in 2020 compared to 2019. Cocaine deaths also increased in 2020, as did deaths from natural and semi-synthetic opioids (such as prescription pain medication).
Also, in 2020, for the tenth year in a row, there were no deaths due to global warming. ZERO. Not a single death. And yet this is what the media and Democrats want you to believe is the greatest existential threat facing the country.

They won’t close the border, so I don’t want to hear the left saying diddly squat about it. The overwhelming majority of overdoses stem from illegal drug use. The left want to cut that down to near zero? Then get serious about stopping illegal drugs from coming in, and stop going after folks that have prescriptions for pain relief because their lives are a living hell without it.
Bill O’Reilly said the current organized crime syndicate leaders love Joe Biden. He keeps border officers so overwhelmed with floods of illegals that they cannot do thorough searches for drugs (not in someone’s clothes, the large amounts on trucks and in cars or small planes).
China is the number one exporter of illegal drugs into the US, and they do it partly for money but mostly as an act of sabotage, to undermine US law enforcement and to cause families and businesses to pay for drug addicts indirectly.
The crimes to pay for major drug habits include muggings and
major thefts as well as money and jewelry stolen from their own families.
My question. Why isn’t someone in the US sabotaging the Chinese in some way? Lots of dorky Chinese university students are here to seal our secrets and send passwords on computers. Force some into betraying their Communist despots at home. Maybe frame some of them as a start.
Why should only the Chinese side win at this?
Are we good little boys and girls? Don’t think so.
Not to make light of this tragedy but we will never know the number of Covid vaxx overdose (1 or 2 shots) deaths in this country. It may very well exceed drug overdose figures.
More dangerous than Covid.
