SCOOP: @HumanEvents has obtained both versions of the Kyle Rittenhouse drone video
The low quality version provided to the defense
The HD version that was withheld from the defense team
The HD version clearly shows Kyle did not aim his rifle at the Ziminskis

To have the inferior quality video entered into the record as evidence for the prosecution required the covering up of the fact by the prosecution that there was/is perhaps more definitive evidence from the same source. If the device captured the relevant image frames at the highest level of video resolution available then that should be the default level of video quality to be admitted as evidence for both sides. Thomas “The Finger” Binger- It’s out of his hands...for now. If he gets sued or prosecuted himself, he’ll probably try to prosecute the plaintiff(s) as a defense strategy.
“The HD version clearly shows Kyle did not aim his rifle at the Ziminskis”
Wait. Ziminski got shot so at some point the gun was aimed at him.
NO,Ziminski was not shot. Gaige what’s his name was shot in the arm.
Ziminski is the guy that fired the first shot in the air while Rosenbaum pursued Rittenhouse. No real reason has ever been given for that first shot and may have contributed to Kyle’s fear that he was going to be killed.
“NO,Ziminski was not shot. Gaige what’s his name was shot in the arm.”
Thanks. My mistake.
Clear prosecutorial malfeasance like withholding evidence (that they then try to get admitted after they and the defense have both rested) needs dismissal with prejudice.
Gaige Groskreuz.
“””There is a substantial difference in quality between the “low def” version given the defense and the “hi def” source. Big time difference. I can’t believe the commenters who said they can’t see a difference.”””
I spent far too many hours watching all of the trial. When the prosecution got to their slow motion viewing of the drone video and claiming Rittenhouse was the provoker, I could never see what they were talking about.
I assumed it was my eyesight as the problem.
Wow. This uncompressed video is certainly a lot clearer and now I don’t believe I need to buy a new pair of eyeglasses.
Let me also add.
The HD video also clearly shows Rosenbaum tossing his plastic bag at Rittenhouse in order to distract Rittenhouse. At that point Rittenhouse turns around and points his gun towards Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum does not stop, but continues to pursue (to his peril).
The above sequence of a split second events was not all that clear to me when I saw the fuzzy compressed video played over and over again during the trial.
IT was NOT the same model of gun.
The idiot prosecutor brandished a weapon that was black, menacing looking-—BUT WAS NOT THE SAME GUN OF THE EXACT REPLICA OF Kyle’s weapon.
Thank you! It’s quite obvious I didn’t know what I was talking about. I just assumed, which is never a good thing. What are your thoughts on the verdict to this trial?
I think there is far too much chance of jury intimidation causing a mistrial without prejudice.
A prosecutor cannot drop charges after a jury is empaneled. At that point double jeopardy attaches and save a mistrial he cannot bring charges again.
Is it when the jury is empaneled, or after the jury is given the case for deliberations?
I am not a lawyer. ;-P
So, did the clearer video show that Kyle was wearing his gun backwards to ‘trigger’ Rosenbaum into trying to kill him, or not?
