There have been times in the not too distant past when the gop wing of the uniparty controlled both houses of Congress, the Presidency, had made most Supreme Court appointments, and controlled most state legislatures and governorships. And in the end, they governed pretty much like the democrat wing of the uniparty does. What’s going to change this time?

Doesn’t matter. What matters is how many blue senate seats we can poach. Hopefully we keep those we have and reclaim Az., Ga., Nv., NH. Not counting on it.
Now would be a good time to replenish. Grassley, Lisa, Crapo, Hoeven need to go. Won’t happen. Shelby, Blunt,Burr,Portman, Toomey have the decency to go knowing they’re not welcome. If only Thone and Boozman would do the same.

We are a year out. It seems like a Republican take over of Congress should be a slam dunk...now. I would caution everyone, especially GOP leaders from just assuming that it is automatic. Sure. Sit back and let Biden shoot himself in the foot. That seems a certainty. But, Republicans should get out in front and propose an alternate agenda. Give the voters something to vote FOR, not just against. It may be easy to get overconfident here, and you know the media will be proping up ol’ poopy pants as we get closer.
