The Satanic Temple is distinct from "the Church of Satan" founded by Anton Lavey who are out-and-out Satan worshippers. Satanic Temple are the ones that have been trying to set up those horrible statues of "Baphomet" all over the place. Their objective in this (and a lot of other things) seems to be to try to downplay (what they think) is the over-representation of Christianity in the culture and that rational people can do good things outside of religion. In other words, they're secular humanists using shock value to make their point. More info:

What they do is rehab old hotels from the 50’s. The Valley Ho being the most famous of these old resorts. The rooms have been updated but are still the smaller style from the era. This one we’ve seen mixed to poor reviews on over the years for stay-cations, which is what keeps them afloat during the summer. For the locals, once a hotel like this gets a reputation they become anathema. They recently outed Scottsdale CRT loving school board President is just one example of crap we do not stand for. The scumifornia invasion of our beautiful little town has gone far enough. I expect this hotel will be out of business within the next two years.

Funny, I have lived in Phoenix for a long time and have never heard of the hotel this is being held at.

They would do better in their “rationalist religious de-emphasis advocacy” by making a name for themselves in their practice of good works without the use of images that Christians know to be blasphemous. Such in your face practices defeats their purpose. The fact is despite their claims of wanting to de-emphasize religious influences in civic life, their use of Satanic Baphomet imagery shows us who their father really is...despite their gaslighting claims to the contrary!

I agree. Even the cynical use of Satanic images for shock value furthers the cause of Satan. The Father of Lies will take all the publicity he can get, especially if if has the effect of lessening his shock value and making him out to be just a quaint caricature. Putting him in this light lowers the guard of those who need to be always wary of his nefarious designs.

The symbol of the Satanic Temple is Baphomet, the goat-headed demon, symbol of androgyny, or as it is commonly known today--transgenderism. It's within this context that the above paragraph must be deciphered. First off, benevolence and empathy among all people speaks to open mindedness. Open mindedness means tolerance toward open borders, man-boy-love, and all other aspects of utopian thinking. For them, this open-mindedness means common sense and noble pursuits.

Tyrannical authority is code for the moral authority and Biblical presuppositions that undergird our nation. Thus, "God created them male and female" is tyrannical. "Thou shall not covet" and "thou shall not kill (murder)" is tyrannical, especially when 'choice" (abortion for any reason) is common sense open-mindedness.
