President Biden’s controversial, Soviet-born pick to lead a key branch of the Treasury Department admitted in a newly unearthed video that she “wants” traditional fuel industries “to go bankrupt.”
Saule Omarova, Biden’s pick to be the comptroller of the currency, was filmed calling coal, oil and gas “troubled industries” in which “a lot of the small players … are going to probably go bankrupt.”
“At least, we want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change, right?” she said in the now-viral clip.
The Cornell University law professor made the remarks in February during a “Social Wealth Seminar” event hosted by the Jain Family Institute, a nonprofit research organization, Fox News said.
By Thursday, they had been viewed more than 1.5 million times on Twitter after being shared by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF).

Omarova is noted for her support for a “National Investment Authority” (NIA), a proposal she has likened to New Deal-era programs. The proposal was first developed in 2015 in conjunction with Robert C. Hockett, a fellow Professor of Law at Cornell Law School. Omarova has stated that an NIA would be responsible for “devising, financing, and executing a long-term national strategy of economic development and reconstruction.”
The proposed NIA would be made up of two components: a “National Infrastructure Bank (NIB), as well as and a National Management Corporation (which she nicknames “Nicki Mac”), which would serve to invest in green technologies. A 2020 article published in The New York Times reported that the proposed NIA would function in a manner similar to the Federal Reserve, and compared the NIA framework to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation created in 1932.
The plan here is simple - get enough radicals in office to ride out the loss of Congress in 2022. Once in, they're there to stay and have two more years to wreck everything they can. They're not even trying to hide it anymore.

Our open society has become the equivalent of a door without any locks, a door that allows those with bad intent to enter almost at will.
We should have banned Communism in the US, and made it impossible for socialists to gain a foothold here. It should have been encoded in our laws.
Further, our society and culture should have continuously and vigilantly neutralized all attempts by the international left and their Trojan horses within our own nation to spread pro-socialist / pro-Communist propaganda throughout our society. Those who did so should have been treated like insurrectionists and foreign agents - because many were.
We no longer have a society/nation/culture in which the best ideas are the ones we will adopt. There is no honest vetting. We have a controlled and biased media, and our entertainment and educational institutions have become almost monolithic in their projected world view and what they will allow to be seen or heard.
To remedy all of this will require bold action, including permanently taking away the power of those who want to control what people think. Their stature must be revoked, and their ability to spread misinformation and untruths must be irreversibly nullified.
