The government doesn’t care about preserving illusions any more. The truth is in the open.
I think people will complain about it, offer some passive resitance, and that’s about it.
Still, I think it is healthy for the people to recognize government as a force is like fire, and can turn bad, and right now is out of control.
The natural order of things is government aligned against the people. That’s the function of government, to oppose unfettered freedom.

Different example, the only mention of "arrest" is that Congress is immune to it during session. But the executive can arrest a member of the public on criminal charges.
