NEW YORK (Reuters) -Summer Zervos, a former contestant on "The Apprentice" who accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her, has ended her defamation lawsuit against the former U.S. president, her lawyers said on Friday.

"Ms. Zervos made the prudent decision to voluntarily drop her case without the exchange of any compensation or attorneys’ fees," Trump's lawyer Alina Habba said in an email. "She had no choice but to do so as the facts unearthed in this matter made it abundantly clear that our client did nothing wrong."

Not just lawyers. Some women use it to “get even” for some imagined slight.
The dismissal was probably with prejudice (barring refilling). Even if it were without prejudice it has the same effect, because the statute of limitations has now run

It’s been my experience that once a woman claims sexual harassment, their risks of being hired by another firm are decreased. Women don’t realize this, IMO. Now, in very firm cases of sexual harassment, yes, but frivolous cases, it’s a bad mark on their professional future.
Summer Zervos was looking to make money off Trump with a frivolous case. She went up against the big dogs and lost a great deal of credibility and professional future.
Lawyers are bottom feeders. They pepper Ms. Zervos with promises they can’t deliver, got their $, and now Zervos is done.

A filing in Manhattan Supreme Court said the case was dismissed and discontinued with prejudice, meaning Zervos could not file the same claim in state court in the future.
Another one bites the dust.
