MANCHESTER, NH—Representative Liz Cheney from Wyoming slammed former President Donald Trump during a Tuesday speech in New Hampshire for “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity.”
The anti-Trump congresswoman delivered an address at St. Anselm College.
“We’ve never confronted a domestic threat like this in our country ever before,” said Cheney who apparently has never heard of Joe Biden or has ever read a book or newspaper in her life. “A former president is unraveling the foundations of our Constitutional Republic.”
“It sickens me that the Republican Party can support a man who lied about weapons of mass destruction for years. It also disgusts me to think about how he waged war based on knowingly bogus intelligence, tried to nation build in an Islamic state, water-boarded countless people in secret, illegally spied on citizens without a warrant, opened Guantanamo Bay detention center, and profited handsomely from Halliburton contracts after having run the company for years. I could go on and on and on, folks, but I think you get my point. This is just sick. Someone like that doesn’t deserve to retire peacefully. That sorta person belongs in a jumpsuit behind bars,” she thundered.
Cheney said those crimes are “so egregious,” she wants to impeach him a third time.
She pleaded for her party to return to espousing “gutless Republicans” like “Mitt Romney and George W. Bush.”
“What this country needs is sweeter but more spineless Republicans who are too afraid to defend themselves in the media and will do anything the media tells them to do in order not to get bad press from the very people who despise them,” she said.
“We need useful idiots so the press can pretend to like them to advance their own left-wing agenda,” Cheney added, which brought Rep. Adam Kinzinger to his feet

Doh! It’s satire!

“It sickens me that the Republican Party can support a man .... “
Then leave you big WarHo’.
“Unfortunately Rep. Liz Cheney has a face too ugly even for radio.”
seriously? ugliness is practically a prerequisite for MSNBC and CNN: just take a look at brian stelter, joy reid, and rachale maddow ...
No she’s desperate to save her old man from a military tribunal which is likely in his near future.
Correction: ATTEMPTS to skewer Trump.
The NY Slimes ran with the story in 2014, detailing the injuries to US servicemen who were injured when they chanced across the caches of mustard agent and sarin. The Slimes later published the US intelligence report on the events, released under FOIA. It's even been noted on Wikipedia that "the total number of munitions discovered since 2003 had climbed to 4,990...."
And it only takes one to prove it wasn't a lie.
The Daily Beast later reported that Bush administration insiders claimed that it was Carl Rove's idea to cover up having found the weapons.
P.S.,
I abhor the use of the term "WMDs" because it was a Stalinist creation of the 1930s. The term itself is prejudicial, like "assault weapon" (aren't all weapons made for assaulting?).
Better they should be referred to by the historically correct and apolitical term, "NBC," as in nuclear, biological and chemical.
When did Trump invade Iraq?
Satire…
(Though I can’t stand Lizard-Breath Cheney.)
What is "so egregious"is the lack of serious education for the masses; the lack of grounded parents who see nothing wrong with the sicko business of promoting these festivals; among them the deadly Astroworld ... people who attend these freak shows, kindly history will not be written. Cheney and her political ilk will not have the history of their shenanigans written in a favorable light. The fall of Rome and all that decadence comes to mind....
Go away Lizzy. Just go away.
