All too often when their work goes awry, election pollsters turn to feeble excuses such as “polls really aren’t predictions. They’re just snapshots in time.” That is nonsense, because no pollster takes on the hard work of conducting election surveys with the expectation that those surveys will be embarrassingly wrong.
A refreshing departure from the blame-dodging tendency came the other day, following the outcome of the New Jersey governor’s race in which the incumbent Democrat, Phil Murphy, narrowly defeated Republican Jack Ciattarelli. The result represented another setback for pollsters, whose pre-election surveys collectively estimated Murphy’s lead at nearly 8 percentage points, according to RealClear Politics. The Monmouth University poll pegged Murphy’s advantage at 11 points.
Murphy won by fewer than 3 points.

The Dems were depending on the polls for their projected margin of fraud.
They still won or cheated or whatever.
It’s not polling, it’s gaslighting. And they are only ever sorry because the gaslighting didn’t obtain the desired outcome, never because they “got it wrong”.
By the way, Russia! Russia! Russia!
No one responds to poll questions honestly.
NO ONE.
The pollsters forgot the truckload of democrat ballots.
In the future they will ask the criminal machine how many fixed ballots will be delivered. They wont know until the voting is done but it will be just enough to give the Democrats a narrow victory
So disappointed that Jack did not fight. This shows me he would have been a bad governor and would of made no real difference in NJ. All they need to do was audit the mai in ballots. Wonder if he was offered a deal to simply go away?
Has he officially conceded?—I keep reading he “will concede” but I haven’t seen that he has actually done so.
If you have a link that he “has conceded” please post it.
Until such time as the people dump the overly left wing Legislature in NJ a Republican Gov would not be able to do much.

Just think if we ran a good candidate that everyone would have wanted to be governor instead of this throw away “me too” candidate who got the nod because it was “his turn”
