Danchenko Indictment: How Dossier Non-Source Sergei Millian Was Framed
Realclear investigations.com ^ | 11/10/2021 | Paul Sperry

Posted on 11/12/2021 9:58:03 AM PST by bitt

In January 2017, Igor Danchenko, a primary source for the Steele dossier, told FBI officials in a debriefing that one of his sources for derogatory information about Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia was merely an anonymous voice on the other end of a phone call that lasted 10-15 minutes.

The voice, Danchenko claimed, was someone he assumed to be Sergei Millian, an immigrant from Belarus, president and founder of an organization called the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce. As thin as that sourcing sounds, the truth appears to be worse. According to a new criminal indictment, Danchenko lied to FBI agents: There was no voice and there was no phone call. The Russian national made it all up.

Still, the FBI continued to use Danchenko’s supposed source’s claims of a “well-developed conspiracy of cooperation” between Russia and Trump to convince a secret federal court to allow investigators to electronically monitor at least one Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, whom the FBI accused of masterminding the conspiracy based on Danchenko's dubious claims. Agents swore in court documents reviewed by RealClearInvestigations that Danchenko was “truthful and cooperative,” even after discovering he misled them regarding his allegedly well-placed source.

The combination of Danchenko reporting a “conspiracy” and the FBI vouching for his credibility persuaded the powerful Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to authorize wiretapping Page as a suspected Russian agent for almost a year. Page was never charged and is now suing the FBI and Justice Department for $75 million.

Special Counsel John Durham detailed the alleged dossier fiction in a grand jury indictment unsealed last week charging Danchenko with five felony counts of lying to the FBI — four of which relate to the invented phone call with Millian, a New York Realtor who was in reality a big fan of Trump.

The warrant to surveil Page allowed them to surveil Trump while denying he was the target.

The beast has to pretend there was a “source”. Otherwise, the communists and the Brit intel have the huge problem of admitting Steele and Fusion GPS created the entire thing right there in their offices.

“According to a new criminal indictment, Danchenko lied to FBI agents: There was no voice and there was no phone call. The Russian national made it all up.”

So see? The FBI, Steele, and Fusion GPS, and the CIA didn’t make the whole thing up.
They was duped, tricked by a wily Russian, see?

Bunch of clowns.

Page, the smirking ass sent over from the CIA with a tailor made “Russian contact” resume for the FBI to run to FISA courts with.

Page, the only guy Mueller and Weissman talked to for an afternoon and let him walk free. No rectal exam back to third grade, no early morning swat raids, etc.
Justa few hours over coffee and Mueller and Weissman cleared him.

Ask a doper friend what it means if the cops raid the house and everyone gets a charge except for ONE dude.

Page ask the judge to go easy on Clinesmith.

Page, who also testified Friday, said he had suffered greatly, as well, from unwarranted law enforcement and media scrutiny, though he told Boasberg that he had "no desire to see (Clinesmith) suffer

And Page, who neglected to mention his CIA Brennan ties during his Congressional testimony get to write a book, and gets to sue the FBI for targeting him.

Because you know, Brennan and the CIA had no clue that the FBI was out to spy on candidate Trump. There was completely blindsided they was I tell ya.

That sure is charitable of Carter page isn’t it? The guy who tried to get him sent to prison somehow, asking the Judge to go easy on him. I think everybody feels that way about lawyers who try to set them up./s

Our government can’t lie as well as a third grader.

Clinesmith was indicted and got a cushy plea deal for neglecting to mention those ties before Page was targeted. Page can point all that out and collect some money. Page is working the system but he's no deep state villain.

Sure he is. FBI wanted to spy in all of the Trump campaign using FISA. Comey calls Brennan. Brennan sends over a guy of his with lots of business ties in Russia to join the Trump campaign. He stays long enough for the FBI to run to the FISA court.
Goes in front of Congress and assured them that every time he has dealings with Russia he was careful to let Trump know. (So Trump can’t say he didn’t know)
Cleared by Weissman in an afternoon.

He’s a Deep State tool.

And everyone else had to live in fear, spend every penny they had in lawyers. They all had sick looks on their faces from the stress. Page the naval intelligence CIA guy couldn’t stop smirking, and never mentioned his CIA ties all those times he was interviewed on Fox.
Even Tucker didn’t buy his BS.

He’s a skunk.

allow investigators to electronically monitor at least one Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, whom the FBI accused of masterminding the conspiracy based on Danchenko's dubious claims. Agents swore in court documents reviewed by RealClearInvestigations that Danchenko was “truthful and cooperative,” even after discovering he misled them regarding his allegedly well-placed source.

I hate the implication that the FISA warrant allowed the FBI to surveille ONE person. Every time this was mentioned, conservative media and conservative politicians should have said loud and clear that the two hop protocol of a FISA warrant allowed the FBI to surveille (past, present and future in all methods of communication) . every member of the Trump campaign. Instead most people still think that the FBI spied on one person and that’s not such a big deal.

The agents who swore that Danchenko was “truthful and cooperative” meant because Danchenko told them very early in the investigation that the evidence in the dossier was not accurate. Of course they did not mention this in the repeat FISA warrants. They should all be in jail.

They should all be in under the jail.

NOW it's got the right flavor to it.
