Longtime Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who’s high atop former President Donald Trump's GOP hit list, on Friday announced that she’s running for reelection in 2022.
"My heart is, and always has been, in Alaska, and that’s why I am proud to announce my campaign for reelection to the US Senate in 2022," the senator said in a campaign video announcing her candidacy.

These people never retire.
Murkowsky, Crapo, Grassley and Amnesty Senator Hoeven are all up in 2022 and all voted for the Trojan horse infrastructure bill.
We MUST replace ALL the Assistant Democrats.
Even the ones Trump endorses.
I hope Trump doesn’t/hasn’t endorsed any of these wretched Senators who’ve voted for the horrid *Infrastructure* Bill.
Also....please explain how best we replace these hacks....these Asst Dems....when Midge opens up his (CCP?) funded war chest, to obliterate EVERY decent candidate who runs against them.
I truly would love to know, as we’ve tried ousting Crony Cornyn, several times, only to have Midge (and other globalist tied entities) step in, to save his bacon.
Does Alaska have a sterling Republican to oppose her in a primary and then win a three way race? Many house districts are featuring retired decorated military people running in primaries against RINOs and vile Democrats.
Sarah Palin kicks her butt. I can dream can’t I.
Start running ads showing her supporting the democrats who shut down Anwar. Every Alaskan gets a piece of those oil profits.
Oh yeah, if Scott finances her run, his political career should be OVER.
There is no party primary in Alaska anymore.
Trump has already endorsed Grassley.
That makes it much more difficult to take them out in the primary.
We have to primary them out and if that fails, refuse to vote for them in the general.
NRSC will likely support its own committee members - also don’t have to worry about taking sides in a party primary since there is no longer such a thing in Alaska.
Murkowski LOST the primary, ran as write in and won due to the Dems crossing over and voting for her. The Alaska unions want her and they will re-elect her.
Murkowsky, Crapo, Grassley and Amnesty Senator Hoeven are all up in 2022*
Don’t forget Thune. They really grow stale after 12 years. Do it for the sake of doing it. That’s where challengers have to step up. Where’s Sarah? Who’s gonna pick a fight with the entrenched ones? Answer: NOBODY. So my friends it’s up to us to light the fire under the incumbent asses in SD, Ia.,ND, and Idaho. Didn’t stop Murkowski. I think more reasonable ones can read the tea leaves but how many of us serious pitchfork carriers are there? When they stop showing up for GOP events you know they’re not popular. It’s up to us to take the next step.
Send a message to Todd Young in Indiana.
who is Midge?
I actually received a fund-raising letter from her all the way down here in Texas. I intend to writ LOL and MAGA on it with a Sharpie and send it back in the prepaid envelope.
Yep...and did not have the backing of the NRSC not being the nominee...not even on the ballot, her own party and the opposition party against her, and still won.
This time she will be on the ballot, with the ability to get second choice votes to try to piece together a majority - she will likely campaign to get the Dem voters to select her as the second choice.
That’s where Midge always steps in....to get rid of any competition, in the primaries.
We’ve had several good candidates attempt to primary Cornyn, only to be smeared beyond recognition, by Midge’s $$$.
The only way anyone ever has a *chance* is if one of these ensconced, career cronies retires....that’s how Ted got in, when KBH retired.
If you refuse to vote for them, in the general, then the Dem wins, not that there’s been much difference....ie this horrid bill, that these entrenched and covered-for hacks voted for.
See? It’s a big club and they’re all in it. We’re not. They won’t even vote for term limits, for themselves, because it’s such a lucrative ‘career’, for themselves/their families.
She didn’t run as an independent - she was able to continue running as a Republican write-in candidate given the the way the laws were in Alaska at the time.
McConnell.
