15 House R's led by @MikeTurnerOH ask POTUS to consider sending US troops to Ukraine, immediately send intel & weapons support -- as Russian forces stage on border. T saying Russian troops/tanks & aggressive behavior fuels concerns Russia is planning additional incursions.
After you MikeTurnerOH.
My guy, Waltz, is going to get a call this am. War, Inc. is alive and well. So tired of this crap.
We’re not, “Team America, World Police!” It’s none of our durn business.
“Not my monkeys, not my circus.”
Where’s their petition to send US troops to the southern border? We need to protect the borders of some country thousands of miles away, but not our own?
Now see? This is why Americans can’t have a nice Constitutional Republic. Between the backstabbers, the commies, and the global corporatists, everything turns to crap.
Thanks for the vid link. His entire premise is still, “We support world wide democracy.”
Well, that ship has sailed. No, Congressman, we don’t. It doesn’t work. We’re not “Make the World safe for democracy!” That’s stupid, and fails, and has bankrupted the US.
“Make the world safe for America,” maybe. But the rest of Europe can take care of themselves. I support pulling ALL ofour troops and hardware out of Europe. Missiles, too. Stop propping up socialism, so they don’t have to take care of themselves.
This is “Bush, Inc” as much as “War, Inc.”
Putin's army invaded southern Ukraine with troops and weapons in 2014. The continuing war has caused 15,000 deaths and 1.5 million refugees.

Not our monkeys, not our circus. Send them Javelins and Stingers.
Do some research on who fired the first shots.
I think we need to react based on priorities. The invasion over our Southern border is priority 1.
Yeah, I saw it. He was a shifty lookin’ dude...
What makes Ukraine our "ally"?
Ukraine should be broken up - the Austrian part that was seized by Stalin after WW II and centered around Lemberg (Lwow, Lvov, Lviv) is truly European - let them have their gay pride parades and their Syrian refugees.
With Galicia and Volhynia back where they belong, the rest of the Russian region known as "Ukraine" can reintegrate with the Motherland.
You might need some “research”, too. Putin said it was “farmers and miners” fighting against Ukrainian “nazis” and then later handed out medals to Russians from Moscow and regular army Russian soldiers. Something doesn’t add up there.
If the cause was just the lies from Putinist Russia would never have been necessary. Russia stole Crimea and murdered thousands of civilians including nearly a hundred children on that airplane. None of that was necessary. They chose to do that and own it all. Period.
Ukraine is not in NATO.
Let Austro-Polish Ukraine that Stalin seized after WWII join NATO if they wish, give the rest back to Russia.
I don’t think there are any Russians
And there ain’t no Yanks
Just corporate criminals
Playing with tanks
-The Call
I believe even Putin said he could be on board with that idea.
If you look at the list, these folks are supposed to be the more sane members - Conservatives, not Republicans.
I get the whole ‘we should have stopped Hitler in Munich’ argument but unless and until Russia becomes a primarily European and Chinese problem, we should be concentrating on preserving our freedom here in the US before we worry about the freedom of people in Ukraine.
I know that. My point is NATO is hell of a lot closer to that conflict than the USA. It should be up to them to take action.
Look, “Ukraine”, like “Yugoslavia”, is an amalgamation of unlike peoples crammed in together as a result of a war - WW I in the case of Yugoslavia, WW II in the case of Ukraine.
And like Yugoslavia, Ukraine will be a potential source of violence until it is broken up into its European (Western) part and Russian (Eastern) part.
The people in Washington, and even here, who have a hard-on for war to defend this imaginary country want war with Russia. It’s very difficult to understand how we could possibly profit from such a war, but it’s very easy to understand how we could be irreversibly damaged from it.
My suspicion is, it’s an attempt to drag us (again) into a blood feud which existed before the United States did and will persist after we are gone.
And, by the way, congratulations on beating McAuliffe. I think Youngkin is terrible, obviously, but our people throwing their weight around by voting may at least postpone another war here, which is what should interest all patriots more than what happens in “Ukraine”.
Ukraine is a democracy invaded by its authoritarian neighbor Russia.
Ukrainians have no wish to "reintegrate"or more accurately to be subjugated by Putin.
Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians gather on Kyiv's Independence Square to Oppose Closer Ties to Russia("Maidan Nezalezhnosti') in December 2013.
Cut it out.
Russia only gave Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954 for heaven's sake, and then only because Khrushchev had been sent by Stalin to govern that part of the USSR.
