Video captured during a youth basketball game in Garden Grove shows a 15-year-old girl getting punched in the face by a fellow player on Sunday.
The incident took place at an event hosted by Avac United, which organizes games for youth between the ages of 13 to 16 across Southern California.
The victim’s mother, Alice Ham, told KTLA that she knew something was very wrong when her daughter, whose name she did not want shared, returned home after her basketball game, disoriented. Teammates and other parents filled Ham in and showed her the video.
“The person in question went down the court and shot a three pointer, landed, fell backwards into my daughter,” Ham explained. “As they got up and turned and were walking back down to the other side of the court, her mom says to her, ‘You need to hit her for that.’ And the child in question sucker punched my daughter.”
Ham says the audio of the mother telling her child to hit her daughter left her especially disgusted and outraged, and that her daughter was disoriented and not coherent after she was hit.
“To me, it rises to the level of assault, the way that she does it with such intent and brutal force,” Ham said, adding that she has filed a police report.

The mother inciting this violence should be in jail and the child should be in CPS custody. Will any of this happen? Of course not, 'cause racism or sumthin'.
Hope mom took her kid to the hospital to have her checked out. If her kid was disoriented when she got home, she could have received a life-threatening concussion.
A concussion. That’s serious, and life threatening. What happened to Asian hate crimes? Well, the perpetrator was black so we can’t blame whites. Give her a slap on the wrist for almost killing someone, and tell the rest of black culture that it’s OK to do that.

This is getting to be too easy.
Just imagine if the girl who assaulted her had been white. The “Stop Asian Hate” people would be apoplectic and we would have heard about it for months. It would go into the database of hate crimes.
As it is, this video will be the end of it for the media. They won’t be following it much after this initial video that gets them some clicks. They will just drop it and ignore it from here on out.

No kidding, really? It IS assault, lady! She could’ve killed your dear daughter! Glad you filed a police report, not that anything will likely happen to this thug.....OR, the thug mom. 😡
Prayer’s up, for this poor kid who WAS brutally ASSAULTED, for a full recovery.

The black girl was twice the size of the girl she punched, and that was a full-blown, roundhouse punch, not a shove or a slap.
