Embarrassing moment for prosecutor who appears to try to draw connection between Call of Duty and real-world killing
During a bizarre exchange during the murder trial of teenager Kyle Rittenhouse, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger asked the defendant if he chose his AR-15 because it “resembled the type of weapons used in first-person shooter video games” like “Call of Duty,” and collectively accused all gamers of trying to “pretty much trying to shoot everyone who comes at you.” BINGER: “You thought [the AR-15 rifle] resembled the types of weapons that are used in first person shooter video games, correct?”
Covfefe Coffee RITTENHOUSE: “I don’t really play first person shooter video games, I have, but I believe there’s a variety of guns, including shotguns, pistols, there’s guns in video games that resemble all guns.”
BINGER: “Isn’t it true, when you would hang out with Dominic Black, you would play Call of Duty and other first-person shooter video games?”
RITTENHOUSE: “Sometimes.”

BINGER: “And those are games in which you use weapons like AR-15s to pretty much trying to shoot everyone who comes at you, correct?”
RITTENHOUSE: “it’s video game where two players are playing together, I don’t really understand the meaning of your question, to be honest.”
BINGER: “Isn’t one of the things people do in these video games try and kill everyone else with your guns.”
Now the creepy leftists are alienating gamers.
That should have raised an objection from Kyle’s lawyers as it is irrelevant to the case.
Kyle’s lawyers NEVER object.

One does not use an AR-15 in video games. Ever. One does not try to kill everyone. You have your team, and the enemy. It is combat simulation. You don’t shoot your own guys.
There was no need for Kyle to be on the stand.

Well, sometimes the best strategy is to let the otherside keep digging. Any person in the jury who has played a first person shooter will see through this ploy.
Solution. Don’t play them.
