The Deep State killed JFK.
The government needs to hide this fact, because once people realize that it’s true, they might start asking uncomfortable questions about more recent events.
It’s really simple.
If it’s as they said it is, withholding information only feeds the fire.
Nothing does more to increase skepticism than the withholding of evidence. The Soviet Union is long gone, almost all of the participants, witnesses, and officials are dead, and Cuba is an irrelevant Communist country.
It’s hard to imagine why Oswald might have found himself attracted to the political and ideological crusade of anti-Castro obsessives who, at the time of Kennedy’s death, were upset that Castro hadn’t yet met the same fate, particularly since Oswald’s loyalties seemed to be the opposite. Various sources report that Oswald had “actively advocated” in favor of Castro. So it would only make sense that Oswald hung out with Cuban dissidents to spy on them for the Castro government “

OK, so he was blamed for it but didn’t do it. The people in charge thought it would be better to blame it all on Oswald, who was now dead.
I don’t know what it’s covering up. CIA killing him because he was anti-communist? Castro having him eliminated because of his actions toward Cuba? Russia having him offed because of his opposition to communism? I don’t know.
The Townhall article neglects the far more salacious part of the same Miami Herald article they cite but don't link to:
“My brother asked ‘Who killed John F. Kennedy?’ and his answer was, ‘I didn’t do it but I was in Dallas two days before waiting for orders. We were the cleaning crew just in case something bad had to be done.’ After the assassination, they did not have to do anything and returned to Miami,” his son said on the radio show.
Now, why would Townhall leave out the part where Morales claims to have been part of a CIA cleaning crew sent to Dallas in case something went wrong with the Kennedy assassination that they knew was going to happen?
Probably because it makes Morales (and people who spin articles around his claim) look like loons.
They are protecting someone highly connected with embarrassing information from getting published. That’s what most redactions are for.

I was in school (in Florida) when the news got out.
It was difficult to comprehend that something like this could happen in our country.
At the time there were only three networks and they all went 24/7 live with no commercials. After awhile it got too much so the family so we went to the beach for a few hours.
Later we seen perhaps the first murder televised live on TV when Ruby shot and killed Oswald.
