Nope, he knows that he is losing and is trying to stage a mistrial.

Lefties are cranking up the propaganda machine to go hard after the judge.

Do you know Raymond Burr’s take on having a self defense defendent take the stand?Do tell. I've seen all the episodes many times, but don't know myself specifically.

Underage. A youth.
Then why is he being tried as an adult?😜
Thing is, “adult” is just an arbitrary age. You are a “youth” the day before you turn 18.

While it's always risky for a defendant to testify, in this case the DA is such an idiot, and so blindly obsessed with his desire to move the "domestic terrorist " narrative, that Rittenhouse is actually strengthening his own defense.
The DA has been severely admonished by the judge twice during this cross examination and looks completely lost.
It should be a slam dunk not guilty verdict based on the evidence, but with juries, you just never know.

Kid is smoking the DA. the road closed issue is making this DA look like a moron. No kidding.

said, "I almost feel sorry for the prosecution. He is being asked to create a case out of thin air. "
The head DA turned down the case. Knowing there was no case against Kyle. It was this jerk that was trying to get kyle to say something stupid. Why the defense team put Kyle on the stand makes me question if this whole case was done to get a Kyle to say something that would make a 3 second bleep on the news.
Example: The questioning of hollow point bullets vs full metal jackets. Hollow points wasn't used in this case. The DA was trying to get Kyle to say, "FMJ are less lethal." Or something along those lines.

Nope, he knows that he is losing and is trying to stage a mistrial. Exactly. He knows he’s done a lousy job and hopes that with a mistrial they will assign another prosecutor for another try…

Just like Mike Nifong, the prosecutor in the Duke Lacrosse case...was all about making a name for himself; sure came back to (proverbially) “bite him in the butt.”

I’m having trouble finding a working link now that YouTube took down their Court TV feed. Could you please share one if you have it?

I believe they are in recess. None of the “live” feeds are streaming live right now.

Was there something about this in the prosecutor’s past?

Fox News was showing it up to the recess. I imagine they will continue it.
I hope they do, it's fascinating.

The defense announced in opening statement Kyle would take the stand. Watching him testify, it seems a good choice to me. I read somewhere else that to ask for a directed verdict the defendant must testify. Have no idea if there is any truth in that. Too lazy to look.

I just tuned in about 10 minutes ago. I’ve backtracked and am listening to the cross examination of Kyle. Fascinating.
