Interesting. Our choir has been back singing and has performed several times for packed houses since August. No mask requirement, no vaccination requirement, no outbreak.

Yes. It actually doesn’t sound bad, to me. They knew the event could spread disease, and they were right. Not yet infected, does not mean you are safe, so it does protect you to not be there as disease is spreading.

They correctly reasoned that the recovered were immune and allowed them. They were wrong in thinking that the “vaccination” protected against spread of the disease. In fact, it looks like only the recovered contribute to herd immunity.

My bet would be that none of the recovered are among the infected - just the so-called “vaccinated”.
