It should be a lively day on the stand.

I imagine that Kyle will continue to smile and look relaxed during the trial knowing that the prosecutors are total idiots, and that Judge Schroeder will continue to make humorous insertions from the bench (probably because he already knows how this trial will end with a directed verdict of innocence).

As Hawk Harrelson used to say, "Sit back, relax, and strap it down" cuz' no doubt this one is going to get jiggy.

Opinions:

The case for self-defense has already been established.

The witnesses yesterday did nothing to help the defense case.

Bringing in this particular impeachment witness is pointless.

Juries don’t like seeing that their time is being wasted.

Legal Insurrections covers the entire gambit of the trial. They covered the pre-trial motions etc.. So it is day 7 from the start, but I believe it is day six involving direct testimony. I may be wrong, but that was my understanding. I like Legal Insurrection as they explain what occurs with the laymen in mind.

There you go! Jury selection doesn’t really count toward the trial - it is a wasted day or two while they go through their process of excusing unwanted jurors.

I may disagree on that, Grosskruetz “imploded” on he stand. But he gave a lot of conflicting comments and tried to portray himself as an innocent victim. Just a trained EMT, illegally carrying a concealed weapon, there just to assist the injured, although I pointed the gun at him, people who know me know I could never harm another human-being. Paraphrasing, but that was how his testimony went. Better to totally discredit him then leave any doubt in a juror’s mind.

This case is over. But he may face litigation by the aggrieved families.

There's no such verdict in our system; that is not the legal standard. That type of thinking (or articulation) is partly why OJ Simpson still has loyal fans.

Nixon said Charles Manson was guilty and a mistrial was almost declared. The defense is doing fine now. Politicians getting involved would only create more problems.
