Christie couldn’t be more wrong.
“Where you stand on that issue” matters more than anything, because that election WAS stolen, and we simply can’t have a self-governing Republic if elections can be stolen. Period.
Denying that the 2020 election was stolen is simply unacceptable. We must make deniers face up to it - we can’t rest until everyone knows it and admits it.

Good advice. I think that is why he is trying to change the party from within. Lord knows it needs it badly.
Bless him for trying but I don’t think the party can be changed or reformed. Its like trying to change the Mafia.
I’m afraid the GOP is what it is. Reagan couldn’t change it and Trump has only had limited success with it (so far). The odds don’t look good to me.
But then again, its hard to doubt a man like Trump. He does make things happen.
