Jeremy Clarkson has been criticised online after saying 18-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg deserves a 'smacked bottom.'
The Grand Tour star, 61, who lives in Chadlington, made the comment in a column for The Sunday Times as the Cop26 conference entered its second week - before going on to describe her as an 'annoying little bucket of ego.'

Oh I do love Jeremy. He’s 100% correct in his assessment and God bless him for not being afraid to say so. He’s never been afraid to speak any truth.

The kitchen at the restaurant was closed and he offered to get sandwiches and a drunken Clarkson hit him.
He and the other guys ended up in a better deal and the current Top Gear hosts are boring plus they work out in a gym.
I imagine he thought that would be better than saying “a kick in the ass.”

Personally I like Clarkson’s acrid attitude since he does not suffer fools.
It comes through in his new show where he decides to farm. The episode where he decides to be environmentally responsible an wants to create some additional wetlands on his spread sums it up. The look of bogglement in his face and his utter disgust as he is going through the governmental regulations and study process is priceless.
Building his farm stand/barn and those jumping hoops comes in a close second.
Third would be when he takes some infertile sheep for slaughter and learns how much that regulatory process sucks.
Greta is on the Asperberger’s spectrum. Her reactions and associated outbursts will not be normal.
