New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) announced on Tuesday that he will not run for Senate in 2022 and will instead seek another term as governor.
The decision leaves an open field for other Republicans to challenge incumbent Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan (N.H.) in the midterms.
Republicans in Washington, including National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Rick Scott (R-Fla.), had pushed for Sununu to launch a challenge against Hassan. The GOP views the seat, which non-partisan Cook Political Report rates it as “lean Democratic,” as a potential pickup in their bid to take back the Senate.

There are different opinions about what exactly transpired at that meeting and my son, who is active in the libertarian party in the state, says there is more to the story that is being portrayed.
I am not going to demand Sununu’s head on a platter without knowing all the facts.

Truth. But don’t tell it to one of the biggest frauds in radio, Howie Carr on wrko in Boston. He loves Sununu and covers up for him whenever necessary. Howie never said a word about Sununu using the Troopers to arrest people who simply disagreed with him. And anyone calling into his show to knock Sununu gets cut off. When that became apparent to me I lost all respect for Howie Carr. He justifiably rips Baker all day long but he won’t say a negative word about Sununu.
Good news. Sununu is rotten.
Now I hope the backstabbing, traitor, globalist Scott Brown’s wife Gail Huff gets the message and realizes she doesn’t have a prayer in Hell of winning anything in freedom-loving New Hampshire either.
The interviews of multiple people who were at the Executive Council meeting all have stated the exact same thing. Nine people were arrested without just cause.
My wife, daughter and another friend were at the previous meeting of the Executive Council at Saint Anslem College. Nothing happened there either. Sununu did not like the fact that the people were questioning HIS authority and decision to take the 27 million dollars to push the vaccines in NH.
If it was not for council members like David Wheeler it would have gone through.
Sununu wanted the money. MAYBE when he didn’t get it pushed through the Rep party removed their support for him in a Senate campaign.
We need to support Karen Testerman for Governor.
She was at the the first Executive Council rally outside Saint Anslem.
The Maggie Hassan commercials have been running on TV now for about a month.
They did a good job making her look much better on TV than she looks in person.
They will fool a lot of low information voters who think she is the nice middle aged woman looking out for NH’s people.
The state party's are useless.
Quite the surprise as we expected him to run, as this was a key winnable race that MUST be taken back next year.

He’s a Sununu. We’re had enough of the Sununu clan, period. I still haven’t forgotten John Sununu Sr. promising George H.W. that David Souter would be a “home run for conservatives”
He’s old and swampy. Crony of Bush 41. There are other good candidates in New Hampshire. Ones with names that aren’t so easy to mock.
