There is a lot of scientific items missing from Google. Not just climate change, covid related, homeopathic treatments...

I was looking for an article on Friday and not only was it no longer available, the entire topic had been scrubbed.

Years ago, years ago...Glenn Beck said to start to save books. History books, dictionaries, etc. His reason for collecting them was a bit different, but he was correct.

2020 was the year of cancel culture, we are now well into censorship at an unprecedented level. It is essentially modern day ‘Book Burning.’ The only difference is we don’t see libraries on fire yet.

When all the books are gone, when all the internet is scrubbed of truths, what world will we live and die in then?

I have a large book collection (somewhere between 4-5000 volumes). I never adopted Kindle or other e-book formats. Seems to me that the true “owner” of the electronic book can alter the content anytime he wants. I imagine that in the future, electronic copies of, say, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” will contain no questionable terminology when referring to Jim the escaped slave. In contrast, the printed page is a safe bet — it says what it is meant to say.

The ancients wrote their history on stone tablets; we have written ours on the equivalent of an etch-a-sketch.
