Yep and we were able to keep the iPhone powered at 76% battery operation which means we could handle 4 hours or so of activity.
I did that by shutting off notifications and also turning off background app refresh. We have another trip planned for later today.

I was at Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, from 1980 to 1984. I met my wife there, and the son we had, is now a USAF pilot.
