"As if the addition of over 50 million records to an ATF gun registry wasn't unconstitutional or illegal enough, the Biden administration's misuse of โout-of-business' records doesn't end there," Aidan Johnston, the Gun Owners of America's director of federal affairs, told the Free Beacon. "Instead of maintaining the right of [licensed firearm dealers] to destroy Firearm Transaction Records after 20 years, buried within Biden's proposed regulations is a provision that would mean every single Firearm Transaction Record going forward would eventually be sent to ATF's registry in West Virginia."
From shuttered FFLs records. Currently probably not a top priority but..................
OK kids pay attention to this advice: one when you buy ammo or anything related to firearms pay cash. The feds are accessing your bank and credit card records already and any purchases you make that are related to firearms will tell these bastards who has firearms. Don’t give them any help.
Gun rights advocates have always said the registration records expose families and individuals to snooping but the real criminals in urban areas who carjack, rob banks, surround and rob pedestrians, ambush police officers, kill children and adults during driveby revenge shootings, threaten witnesses in court cases, do deadly home invasions and more, are not on any government record list.
“When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.”
At some point, Biden (or whomever) is going to "invade France" and do something that cannot be shrugged off.
There was never a legitimate reason to include the specific firearm info on the form. If a buyer is not prohibited what does it matter what they purchased?
The Feds often lose records and files (when its convenient) but they’ll never lose any records related to firearm purchases. Guaranteed.
The owners of one of the largest gun dealers in the Houston area told me that their gun transaction records are stored in a separate building from the main offices. They said if the fed made such a move, there would be a big fire.
Yup. Hit the atm first.
Thanks. For some reason I thought they were on the “no post” list.
Can they point me toward some 45 Long Colt?
Asking for a FRiend,,,
Arec Baldwink.
Anyone surprised by this has not been paying attention.
I always pay for all gun or ammo purchases with cash, not my debit card. Usually by saving up one dollar bills or pay from the band’s gigs. Don’t have or want a crediit card, nothing but an invtation to trouble. Sure, sometimes it would be handy but the terms credit card scommpanies stick you with pretty much insure you’re paying loan shark interest rates and you WILL end up in debt up to your eyeballs.
And some advice to those even considering a divorce, cancel ALL credit cards before you even talk to a lawyer. If your spouse wants to run up your debt, he or she will have to open new cards, without your permission, and it may be a good idea to set up some sot of written protection against that too. My brother’s ex hit him with $50,000 in maxed out cards, including a couple she opened AFTER they were legally divorced. He was able to avoid those bills, but only after some costly court visits.
Don’t even tell your ex you know how to SPELL gun...

Under Louisiana state law, I sold all my firearms to private individuals, as stated in that law, without any receipts and in cash.
