Republicans make Florida history, pass Democrats in voter registration

Florida Republicans have officially reached a milestone they’ve been trending toward for nearly a decade — outnumbering registered Florida Democrats for the first time in state history.

Gov. Ron DeSantis touted the achievement for Republicans at the National Conference of State Legislatures Friday morning.

“Today for the first time in the history of Florida we’ve now overtaken Democrats,” DeSantis said to applause, then joking that Republicans would have won the New Jersey governor’s race if all the Republicans hadn’t moved to Florida.

And people feared inbound migration would make Florida blue.
As it turns out, it has turned Florida red.

“And people feared inbound migration would make Florida blue.”

Heard the same thing about TX since effing 2008 on FR. Dems were already seething on how exactly the Latinos voted en amsse for Trump in Miami-Dade county aka Miami which is historically blue.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the Democrats react as Hispanics join the Republican party:
1. “You all are part white, so it’s no wonder you joined the racist party!”
2. “That whole Trump Cinco de Mayo Taco Salad is what turned them.”
3. “Why WOULDN’T Latinos want to join the party supporting Castro, Che, and Chavez?”

That alone won’t stop the urban citadels of fraud.

It’s just a crying shame that the majority of “Republicans” turn out to be such a huge disappointment. For the most part they are nothing better than Assistant DemocRATs who do not show any interest to actually serving the base of the “party”.

Since the Theft of the 2020 Presidential election, those people have done little to stand up for the Will of The People and last night’s budget busting vote is proof of this.

As I see it, there is absolutely no reason to back the GOP any further. It’s a waste of time, energy and money in my opinion. Our Votes don’t matter either, as evidenced in the New Jersey “election” this past Tuesday. Voter Fraud and Ballot Tampering continues, unabated.

All the new folks moving here on the Treasure Coast are from NY & NJ and are staunch conservatives, MAGA supporters and brought their Trump flags with them.

Correct. Massive Latin support here in Florida. I regularly eat at a small Cuban cafe that JUST raised the Trump flag.

Your script from daddy Soros isn’t working.

If your vote didn’t matter Virginia wouldn’t have switched and NJ wouldn’t be close.

NJ is a D+16 State. Not every loss is a steal.

Your “all is lost, we can never win again” script was blown out of the water all around the nation on Tuesday.

So, either lead or get out of the way and let your betters carry the nation on our backs.

We are keeping DeSantis right here in Florida as governor for 2nd term. He needs at least one more term to clean up every bit of mess left here by the uni-party. Moving to Florida 5 years ago was my best decision.

I encouraged someone to move to the Free State of Florida just this week, and I don’t live there.

This might be part of the reason that the DGA is considering sitting out the Florida Governor’s race.

Early triage for 2022 is already starting.

I’m surprised it took this long. I’ve always thought of Florida as a red state rather than the swing state the media touts it as.
