The nation argued for five years over the infamous “Steele dossier,” the document on which the Federal Bureau of Investigation relied to investigate Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. It should have been called the Clinton dossier.
Special counsel John Durham this week obtained an indictment of Igor Danchenko, a Russian who provided information for the dossier. ---SNIP---
Never forget the original claim. According to the FBI, Democrats and the media, Mr. Trump harbored secret and nefarious ties with Russia. We knew that because—as Mother Jones explained in a 2016 article that became the reigning story line— Christopher Steele was a “credible source with a proven record of providing reliable, sensitive, and important information to the U.S. government.” He had come across “troubling” evidence of Trump collusion and brought it to U.S. law enforcement.

I vote both.
A key strategy used by the Clinton for years. Step one: deny, deny, deny. Step two: stall, stall, stall. Step three: old news, no one cares. <p we are now at step three.
Ping for later.
Several people went to jail rather than rat out the Clintons. They knew that what would happen to them if they exposed the Clintons was worse than going to jail.
Mendaciously politicized against Trump and all who voted for him. They remain so to this day.
coincidentally(?), Christopher Steele re-emerged recently, first with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, then in an exclusive piece of propaganda for Sky UK (Comcast):
23 Oct: Sky UK (Comcast): Christopher Steele: Former British spy ‘surprised and disappointed’ at Theresa May snub over Russia dossier
Christopher Steele was left feeling “surprised and disappointed”, when Mrs May, as prime minister, appeared to play down his links to the government.
by Deborah Hayes
Christopher Steele also revealed he had been asked by a UK official to review sensitive government documents on Russia just days before his dossier, which alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow in the 2016 US election, became public.
It meant he was left feeling “surprised and disappointed”, he said, when Mrs May, as prime minister, then appeared to play down his links to the government.
“It was quite galling to have announcements made… to the effect that this was nothing, we were nothing to do with the government, we hadn’t worked with or for the government for years and so on,” the former senior MI6 officer said in an exclusive Sky News interview...
“It is absolutely clear that the individual who produced this dossier has not worked for the UK government for years,” she (May) said at the time...
perhaps just as interesting is the fact Steele is involved in a spooky group, calling itself Independent SAGE, or iSAGE, purposely confusing itself with the British Govt’s covid advisory group, SAGE (who had as a former advisor, the infamous Neil Ferguson):
Wikispooks: Document: Why is disgraced MI6 author (Christopher Steele) of the dodgy Trump-Russia dossier involved in a controversial group seeking harsh Covid restrictions?
In a statement, Firstlight Group, which provides “media relations support and consultancy to Independent Sage,” contended that The Citizens “drew on a wide and diverse collection of unpaid advisors before it launched,” of which Steele was just one.
“He has never played any active or other role in the organisation or Independent SAGE,” the PR firm added, although in a followup email Firstlight said Steele was part of a “a network of pro-bono advisors we can call upon as needed,” suggesting he could be drafted in to support The Citizens, and by extension Independent SAGE, at any time in the future...
David King is a “climate change” crazy; his son, Zack, is with iSAGE-connected Firstlight, as is Cambridge Analytica pusher, Carole Cadwalladr of The Guardian’s sister paper, The Observer:
20 Oct 2021: BMJ: Covid-19’s rebel scientists: has iSAGE been a success?
It turned a dozen scientists into media personalities, but what is Independent SAGE’s legacy, asks Laurie Clarke...
Founded by David King, former chief scientific adviser to the Tony Blair and Gordon Brown governments, iSAGE comprises academics from mathematics, public health, virology, and behavioural science. Membership has changed slightly over time, but the number of members has stayed at 12...
Who are The Citizens behind iSAGE?
Set up in late 2019, The Citizens are an activist group founded by journalist and activist Carole Cadwalladr, best known for breaking the Cambridge Analytica news story in 2016...
iSAGE’s website states that The Citizens offer media support to the group through Cadwalladr and David King’s son, ***Firstlight PR executive Zack King. The Citizens updated its Twitter profile in July stating it was the founder and “producer” of iSAGE. Cadwalladr updated hers too, describing herself as “parent” of iSAGE...
2 July 2021: Firstlight Group: Launching a global advisory group
by ***Zack King
Last week, firstlight – along with an amazing team of collaborators – launched the Climate Crisis Advisory Group (CCAG) and I was fortunate enough to lead the charge...
Led by Sir David King, we’ve assembled an all-star cast of experts - you can see the full list of scientists here (LINK), including the likes of Professor ***Johan Rockstrom, Professor Nerilie Abram and Fatih Birol...
Beyond the public meetings, we will also be able to provide reactive advice and insight into all manor(sic) of issues relating to the climate crisis, from extreme weather events to carbon targets. We aim to become a go to source for all.
To those who have followed our work at firslight (or much of the news), this model may sound familiar. Indeed, CCAG is borne out of the success we have found using this approach with Independent SAGE.
But we’re not naïve to the challenges ahead. Independent SAGE’s success has taken place in the context of a new global pandemic spurred on by a failing British government...
***Johan Rockstrom is closely connected to GRETA THUNBERG - see many links online:
29 May 2021: Guardian: Johan Rockström: ‘We need bankers as well as activists… we have 10 years to cut emissions by half’
by Jonathan Watts
Johan Rockström is one of the world’s most influential Earth scientists. As director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, he advises governments, corporations and activists, including his Swedish compatriot, Greta Thunberg, about the latest research on the climate and biodiversity and argues for better science communication...
Firstlight on their work for The Climate Crisis Advisory Group (CCAG)
Since its inception in June 2021, CCAG has established itself as a major global voice on climate change. To date, we’ve secured 1,500+ news articles, including front pages (e.g. The Guardian) and major evening news segments (e.g. Channel 4). On social media, the group has reached more than 2 million people and generated over 80,000 video views...
Firstlight on their work for Independent SAGE (iSAGE)
The first six months saw over 8,500 pieces of coverage, 80,000 Twitter followers, 350,000 YouTube viewers and 1.5m video views on Twitter...
bury the FakeNewsMSM.
Whaddya mean? 99.9% of them are red-blooded true American Patriots, according to a famous conservative media personality.
Wray needs to be fired on day one of the next Republican administration.
Republican Leadership loves Wray (they both wanted to get rid of Trump), and they rewarded them with huge money in one of the Porkulus/ Covid behemoths.
“The Clinton dossier should go down as one of the biggest scandals in U.S. political history. Not just for the breadth of the con, but for the time it has taken to expose it.” -KS
So in June 2016 a Clinton staffer, Dolan, visits the same hotel in Moscow that the bogus Steele Dossier later claimed was the hotel where Trump allegedly wrestled with the incontinent prostitutes....just as we figured, something that perverse had to come from the mind of a Democrat.
Charles Dolan bump.
I wonder if Clinton staffer Charles Dolan is the same Charles Dolan who years ago testified in Congress for Cablevision?
5 Nov: Tweet: Sean Davis (The Federalist)
Durham’s indictment today notes that not only did Fiona Hill introduce Danchenko to Christopher Steele, in February of 2016 she also introduced Danchenko to “PR-Executive-1,” rumored to be Democrat operative Charles Dolan.
Hill told Congress she knew nothing about the dossier.
haven’t had time to listen to the following, but will do so today, as I imagine BBC’s timing probably means they are trying to provide cover for Hill:
AUDIO: 23min: 3 Nov: BBC Hardtalk: Fiona Hill
Presenter: Stephen Sackur
The Trump Presidency challenged many public officials to make a choice: obey directives from the White House against their better judgment, or take a stand and face the wrath of the pro-Trump movement. Fiona Hill, a former Russia adviser at the White House, took a stand. She was a key witness in Donald Trump’s first impeachment trial, and has since had time to reflect on what his presidency meant for America and its geopolitical standing.
Found the answer...apparently not
Great read for the grown ups.
Timeline discussion was insanely accurate.
The Lindsey Graham video was vintage Graham, although a RINO and a constant headache, he is known to spin a great story.
