Friday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) argued House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the Democrats are “misreading” this week’s state elections if they continue to push forward with their social spending spree.
McCarthy, pointing to elections in Virginia, Seattle, Texas and others, said that “America is waking up” and realizing they do not want the Democrats’ agenda.

What was McCarthy saying about repealing Obamacare? How did that work out. The Democrats will push hard left now because they know they are going to lose power. They also know the feckless republicans will not undue most of what they accomplish and they will have a better strangle hold when they regain power. It is incrementalism.
Pelosi, Sanders and even the demented Biden realize that they either press forward now or their supreme opportunity to destroy America will be lost. These bills if they pass will be devastating to the American nation and make the transformation of America into a place without freedom or liberty and into a pliable cog of the globalist, socialist world governed by elites.

Exactly what is McCarthey supposed to do? He's the minority leader of the House, but this is a state election, and the GOP has sent every lawyer they can scrounge up there.
So many people here apparently believe that minority reps in Congress have some sort of special, magical powers to do all sorts of awesome things to stop injustice. They don't. They have votes in Congress, and that's it. And given that they routinely get outvoted in Congress by Democrats, all they can really do is try to bully pulpit issues. Bug if the DOJ (led by Garland) refuses to act, there isn't a damn thing they can do about it because they lack the votes.

This is mere collateral damage to them. They are more than willing to offer up sacrificial lambs (Brandon) to accomplish their end goals, knowing that, should they regain power, the go-along ‘pubs will never completely undo leftist destruction. It’s simply “The Art of the Deal”, Alinski revision.

Big GUbamint is a leech at best, a doomsday machine at worst.
That is not McCarthy’s job. There are plenty of lawyers and other Republicans in the state who are challenging this, and there is already plenty of attention being drawn to it. The only way to actually defeat is in the courts. Posturing by a republican who isn’t even from the state for a purely in-state election won’t accomplish squat.
Sure it is, but like so many useless RINOs he's a political hack who runs from stolen elections like a scalded dog.
I suspect there’s big bucks in these bills for white liberal ‘elite’ commies to use... to buy the boots to grind into our faces. (with ‘climate change’ as the excuse for the billions)
Democrats would never be this frantic to help anyone but themselves... we know that much about who they really are.
I don’t think so at all...I think it just makes them all the more desperate to do so since they know this is their last chance. Transforming the country has been their goal...even if it means a massive setback in future elections, the damage can still be done and be long lasting. Fully cementing an entitlement society accustomed to being on the dole they know would benefit them in the long run and give them campaign issues to use against Republicans who want to take away their so-called freebies.
It is McCarthy’s job to keep up the drum beat and pressure against the multi trillion dollar bill the Democrats are trying to push through Congress. That’s what is happening in [I]Congress [/I], where McCarthy actually works as a [I]Congressman[/I]. He has absolutely no power to do anything about a gubernatorial election in New jersey.
Please, let’s keep McCarthy’s inability to control out of control government spending out of this. Since he has been in a leadership position our national debt has more than doubled. Vote theft on the other hand, especially with a Republican governorship involved, is crucial to ensuring future majorities. A simple press conference would raise awareness. You do believe Ds steal elections right?
