Even? The Brits have been at this for a long time. If we just go back to the Norman conquest we’re talking about 955 years, and that’s not even including fights with the Vikings.

They know how to do a lot of things right, despite their undeniable mistakes. Look at Dunkirk. Do you think we could do that today?

Winston Churchill, a modern figure, participated in their last mounted cavalry charge, which he claimed to have survived only because he sheathed his saber and drew his pistol.
