He pokes fun at them on a nightly basis, but Jimmy Kimmel is questioning whether it's good for Americans to laugh at the country's "terrible" issues and political leaders.
"I don't know that laughing about these terrible problems that we have, and these terrible people that we have is good," the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host said in response to a question Thursday from CNN anchor Jake Tapper about whether late-night TV provides escapism for viewers.
"I could probably spend an hour answering this question because I don't know that escapism is a good thing," Kimmel said during the news network's virtual Citizen Conference.

Laughing at yourself again?
To: ChicagoConservative27
Wait a minute. What does Kimmel do for a living? Isn’t he a comedian? Or have I been mistaken about his role in live forever?

Laughing at leaders and problems and absurd situations IS the very definition of freedom. Laughter is inherently human, and I believe that nothing is out of bounds in that regard.

I never laugh at Jimmy Kimmel.
Now — to solve his problem, how about his having a Two Minutes Hate for “terrible people”?

Hey clown, your jokes aren’t funny. I don’t think you need to worry your pinhead too much.

Jimmy Kimmel peaked on the man show, but that was only because of his proximity to Adam Corrola

Chapelle nicely articulates the value of “laughing about these terrible problems that we have, and these terrible people that we have”. in doing so, he can address what polite society dare not.

He was marginally humorous when he did “The Man Show” with Adam Carolla and the girls jumping on trampolines in slow-mo. Back before he sold his soul to become a paid hack and gaslighting liar for the cultural Derp State Stalinazis.

Kimmel’s a tool for bitter white liberal ‘elites’ (and their pet victim groups) groups that feel eternally entitled.
Nothing funny about his brand of fawning or his hatred toward the ‘little people’....
