An analyst considered the primary researcher of the Steele dossier was arrested Thursday by federal authorities, The New York Times reported.
Igor Danchenko was arrested as part of special counsel John Durham’s investigation, according to the Times.
The phony Steele dossier was created as part of a Democrat effort to discredit former President Donald Trump’s election victory.

We'll have to wait to see how effective Durham is.
Still, this is a positive if he isn't held in Epstein's cell.
So...when will Hillary be arrested?
What a joke.
Danchenko didn’t kill himself.
Yet.

When are they going to arrest Schiff who went on TV daily proclaiming that he had evidence of Trump’s guilt but never produced it?
“Still, this is a positive if he isn’t held in Epstein’s cell.”
Agreed, better than no arrest. Maybe Durham isn’t a media whore like most in government, at this point I’m willing to wait for a positive outcome.
Like we have had any choice but wait. I hope we see more soon. Now I cant use this meme anymore...
Ah, but lefty congressmen are expected to lie, daily and hourly.
“Researcher”? LOL. Fiction writer is more like it.
Fall guy.
Yawn...

He must have been scheduled for a Tucker Carleson interview.

I expect Danchenko will be found with a suicide note, shot twice in the back of the head.
Good one!
Yep, little fish netted while big fish swim away. Happens pretty much every time, unless you’re a Republican.
At this point, this event can't be distinguished from the other scenario--where the little fish is arrested and is offered a really long stretch in the Federal pen vs. ratting out the bigger fish with names and dates in return for a shorter stretch.
On va voir.
It is not a crime to lie, unless under oath in a legal proceeding, or to lie to a government official pursuing his official duties, like an FBI or IRS agent. Sussmann, who was representing the Hilary Clinton campaign lied to FBI to get them to initiate the Russiagate investigation, and that's what he was indicted for.
If Danchenko represented his fiction as actual research he might be guilty of fraud against Steele, but that is a civil matter. If he lied to Federal investigators, e.g., Durham's staff, that would be a felony.
Schiff can make any lies or statements he pleases, so long as he does it on the floor of Congress, he can't even be sued for slander. (I believe that Trump has an open and shut slander case against Brennan and Schiff, at a minimum. I think he should sue them, just for the pure joy of it.)
He compiled the dossier for someone. He shopped it around. He gave it to the FBI and Fusion GPS. He interacted with everyone involved every step of the way from the beginning and yet he is never the focus.
