Parents of students at a Rockville, Maryland, high school posed serious questions Wednesday about the school’s handling of what sources allege was an attempted assault in its football locker room.
Some privately expressed concerns that the investigation was conducted, and concluded, too quickly.
Montgomery County police were called to Wootton High School just after 4 p.m. Tuesday for what was described as an assault believed to be sexual in nature. In the end, authorities said there was no sexual assault and no charges have been filed.
Sources told News4 that the incident, which took place in the football locker room after practice, involved an attempted assault with a broomstick.

There can be a thin line between what is simply horseplay and what is actual sexual assault. If the target of that horseplay was deeply disturbed, that can change the nature of the act.
In either case, the offender needs to know if someone doesn’t wish to be approached in a particular manner, however lighthearted it was meant, then their wish should be respected. Leave them out of any such games, whether ‘serious’ or not.

Seems to me that answers the question as to whether it was a sexual assault.

In my state of pennsylvania, just such a case in being investigated by Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
It includes the Williamsport H.S. baseball team of two years ago.
A chaperoned team trip to the Maryland shore.
Boys, coaches, parents, coach’s girlfriend.
Chaperones went out on the town, left the boys unsupervised in the motel.
Freshman boy, of color, gets anally raped with his cellphone by senior boys.
Onlookers record the whole thing and send it around the net.
Everything covered up so the coach’s son won’t have any issues with his college scholarship. Etc.
Becoming too familiar a story.
I sure hope Josh Shapiro finds justice for the victim.
Martin would not have encountered George Zimmerman if he had been arrested for petty larceny in Miami. Instead, because of the "school-prison pipeline" reforms, the school district covered up Martin's high school criminal activity and suspended him for 30 days, resulting in Martin spending the month with his father. That's when Martin came across Zimmerman.
Striking while the iron is hot, if a conservative journalist was interested in writing a protagonist retrospective article reviewing how the Miami School District's misguided policies and cover-up led to the death of Trayvon Martin and the ruin of George Zimmerman's life, I'd be very interested in watching the left's cumulative meltdown from such an expose.
