There can be a thin line between what is simply horseplay and what is actual sexual assault. If the target of that horseplay was deeply disturbed, that can change the nature of the act.
In either case, the offender needs to know if someone doesn’t wish to be approached in a particular manner, however lighthearted it was meant, then their wish should be respected. Leave them out of any such games, whether ‘serious’ or not.
