Both Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) are seeing lagging approval among their constituents as over half of registered Wisconsin voters in a new poll signal they would vote for someone other than either incumbent.
A Marquette Law School Poll published on Wednesday found that 53 percent of registered Wisconsin voters would vote for someone else besides Evers while 40 percent said they’d vote to reelect him. About six percent said they did not know or declined to say.

Democrats and liberal groups have been running opposition ads against Johnson. The corrupt state media has been pounding Johnson. Evers is slightly more coherent than Biden and the same corrupt state media have been protecting Evers by never saying anything critical of him.
Therefore, this “poll” tells me that Johnson is in good shape and Evers is in trouble.
The district has usually been Dem ; without Johnson, it will likely revert to Dem. One less Senate seat for GOP.
“Johnson has maintained consistent favorability ratings among voters over the last few months. The Republican senator has a 36 percent favorable rating - one percentage point up since August - but he has still maintained a 42 percent unfavorable rating since August.”
Why does Johnson have a high unfavorable rating?
What’s become of Scott Walker?
I really liked him. Wanted to vote for him in 2016 before he dropped out. Then it was a toss up between Trump and Cruz. Eventually voted for Trump.
Evers is the one who's unpopular, but the corrupt shills just had to thrown Johnson in there to give it the bipartisanship veneer.
If your typical non-political voter is seeing signs for $3.50/gallon gasoline on a daily basis, I’d say any incumbent is likely going to face a tough battle.
Why does Johnson have a high unfavorable rating?
Marquette poll, no one would pay attention otherwise
“Why does Johnson have a high unfavorable rating?”
Because he has come around to being one of the more effective GOPee Senators?
Tell that to Scott Walker.
42% isn’t particularly “high” - higher than 36%, yes. But that leaves 58% who either like him or have no opinion, which isn’t a danger to his re-election in of itself.
Who do you mean? The winner of the last election until one of those patented late-night ballot dumps put Evers in office?
Saw him last night as a commentator on Newsmax. I admire him and hope he makes it back to elective office
Tell that to Scott Walker.

Walker is gone from the scene and his base was in SE Wisconsin. And as I said, the history of Johnson’s district is Democrat. Unless the GOP turns up a strong candidate, maybe old man-tanned, party-hack Russ Feingold will run for his old seat.
Scott Walker ran for president in 2016. Since then, he’s been invisible.
Marquette Law School ?
Why not just go straight to a Wuhan University poll ?
