The courtroom is a very boring place to be - no matter why you are there. It can feel surreal also.
I was sooooo glad I’ve never been picked for jury duty for that reason. I can’t just sit still, and pay attention to anything I find boring, repetitive, and drawn out. Let alone all the acting that goes on. I twitch, shift around constantly, rub my eyes, yawn, scratch - you name it.
And Kyle has been living this nightmare for a long while now, the stress of being in court and being on trial can have weird effects on a person. Especially if you aren’t accustomed to that sort of pressure, and being in that environment.
Hope he doesn’t break wind. The press will get the vapors.......errr so to speak.
He may have farted too
Yawning can be a sign of stress.
What about his farting? Burping? Other bodily functions? What about those of jury? Judge? American journalism at its best!
Whatever. It’s his life. I could care less. I don’t know him at all. I highly doubt you do either.
The days before a trial are high stress no sleep. Once the trail starts the yammering of lawyers and judges is really a soporiphic.
I’ll bet he didn’t get a wink of sleep last night
Rittenhouse is just tired of all the BS.
From sitting on a jury once myself, I’d say the jury might understand how he yawned. It can be hard even to stay awake sometimes. Yawning is also simply something physiological that for the most part, you can’t control, which they probably recognize, too. “Yawning at something,” used as a metaphor to describe unconcern over something one should be concerned about, is basically just that, a phrase.
He’s a kid. Trials are mostly boring crap you have heard a dozen times.
