But an odd public narrative has taken hold among some in the media, and among some public health officials.
The more the Covid-19 vaccines don't do the job we hoped they'd do-- the more some people insist it's proof they are working and that more people need to get them.
When somebody, like Colin Powell, dies of Covid-19 after being fully-vaccinated, these people insist that's proof the vaccine works and that it shows more people need to get vaccinated to save people like Colin Powell.
This makes no logical sense.
When vaccinated people by the thousands get sick from Delta variant or some other form of Covid, it is claimed, without evidence, that they would have been sicker if they hadn't gotten vaccinated. (In fact, scientists say, most unvaccinated people who get Covid will have cases that are mild or without symptoms.) It's impossible to know whether a vaccinated person who's sick was made better off by vaccination.
When CDC and other institutions discovery Covid-19 is routinely carried and spread by the fully-vaccinated, these people insist that's all the more reason for more people to get vaccinated.
Those working to ignore natural immunity and promote the vaccine industry at all costs know the answer they want to have before the question is asked. Therefore, every question and problem raised-- yields the same reply, no matter how ludicrous:
"This proves the vaccine works and more people need to get it."
Thoughts?

Colin Powell was sick with cancer. It’s more like he died WITH COVID than from it.
There are better examples.
I intend to stay in the control group.
Can’t have everybody who gets the “vaccines” dying at once.
Only 5% of the production lots are the real thing at any given time. The rest are placebos.
That’s why the vaccines don’t actually prevent the illness and why “boosters” are required.
Every time you get a “booster” is like playing a slot machine, and the jackpot is you get to be dead.
This phenomenon is called cognitive dissonance - the more evidence against a belief the stronger one’s belief becomes (not weaker). This is not only denial, it is that your belief gets stronger. This is why so many vaxxed people need to reassure themselves by seeking social support from their friends and from the media. They try to reduce the “dissonance” or contrary evidence.
The vaccines have been shown to work well for most people, by scientific clinical trials, for fairly short periods of time.
The vaccines prime an immune system, they don’t rebuild it.
I would also say they may have worked better on the original variant, but with a delta variant they seem to be a lot less effective, despite the experts all telling us they work despite an increase in people getting Covid who are vaccinated.
delusion + wishful thinking + fantasies
As long as work well is defined as they don’t prevent illness, or transmission, then I agree with you.
Cancer, and its treatments, destroy one's immune system, making a more severe covid case more likely.
It's impossible to diagnose his COD across the internet. We're dependent on the coroner and the publicist.
The lunatics really are running the asylum.
Amen. You ain’t alone.
I remember Biden promising to cure cancer in his first 100 days of office during his basement campaign...
The objective may be enslavement and death to the worthless eaters.
I am just saying Colin Powell was not a good example.
There are plenty of examples of the vaxxed being hospitalized or even dying from COVID.
What I really want to see are measurements of the immune system pre- and post-jab.
And that is what they reported so why not hold them to their claim?
Yup. That’s pretty much what I was trying to say.
Also, it’s up to the pro-vax people to prove otherwise.
