A Trump-loving business owner is filled with regret after posting an anti-Biden sign outside of his Italian restaurant.
Eddie’s Ristorante is located in Jupiter, Florida, just 20 miles away from Mar-a-Lago. A staunch supporter of former president Donald Trump, Eddie Lubic took it upon himself to hang up a sign that claimed the restaurant was only serving “Patriots of the USA.” It continued: “If you are still a Biden supporter, this restaurant is not for you.”
Lubic recently admitted to the Palm Beach Post that he “may have made a mistake” and that he “probably lost more [customers] than I gained.” Since posting the sign, Lubic claims that the restaurant’s hostess, 19, receives 100 vulgar phone calls a day from “relentless” strangers.
The Yelp page for Eddie’s Ristorante was flooded with comments like “Come for the biscotti, stay for the Benghazi”, causing the page to be shut down entirely.
It’s a mistake to imitate the practices of the left.
Any company with “truth police” have a staff of full time people who can harass conservatives, without end.
Do the leftists trolling this restaurants' Yelp page know anything about history?

Yeah, there’s plenty of wealth, but not necessarily conservative wealth.
If true, it wasn't a very good business decision. While I appreciate his sentiment and would gladly frequent his restaurant if I lived down there, it was akin to going to the cemetery to piss on Hillary Clinton's grave with a 30 MPH wind blowing in your face......
Somehow I am not convinced this is accurate reporting. He may have lost a few ingrates but surely gained many more.
Neither side should play politics with business. What business wants to alienate 50% of potential customers? Instead, if you believe in liberty, live your values:
Believe in personal choice?... masking and vaccinations are up to you. All are welcome except for those who would impose their own choices on others.
The fact that “Patriots Only” is an anti-Biden phrase speaks volumes.

I have to disagree. I think the number of people who “like” Joe Biden — Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike — shrinks by thousands, maybe millions, daily. Probably the best he can hope for right now is to be “tolerated.”
By Uncle Eddie's own definition 'patriots only' excludes Biden supporters.

In food service, cash is king. Take everyone’s cash then quietly donate to a good conservative cause.
Business is business. Personal politics are personal politics. The two should never overtly meet — left or right.
There’s always half your customer base who will hate you.
