Huma Abedin didn’t rule out a run for political office when asked about that possibility on Monday.
The former top aide to Hillary Clinton was asked on the “Today” show if she’d consider her own run for office after spending years behind the scenes as Clinton’s confidant and with her own estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.
“I am copying Shonda Rhimes. This is my year of saying yes,” Abedin said, referring to the Hollywood heavyweight’s memoir, “Year of Yes.”
“I’m not saying no to anything,” she added.
Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie replied, “Wow. OK, you’re making a little news there again. That was yes.”
“Well, that was I don’t know,” said Abedin, laughing.
Abedin, 45, began working as a White House intern for Clinton in 1996, but her role grew as the former first lady sought various political offices.

The Huma Push from the DNC Talking Points Directive began with CBS Sunday Morning and continued through 60 Minutes and their Monday Morning show. Every time they ended with the phrase “She and Wiener’s divorce is now being finalized”. They don’t even bother to rewrite DNC’s script anymore.
Maybe Mona Lewinsky should run for office. She can site her years working in the Oval Office.
