The high winds didn’t start til mid afternoon, along with off and on rain...I hate watching all the trees swaying back and forth. I keep waiting for one to fall. *shudder*

It IS a horror to my feet. LOL They aren’t happy being bound up. First thing when I get home, the shoes and socks come off and flip flops are slipped on.

Only two more weekends at the museum before we close for winter. Then da tootsies will only be trapped for short periods, like for grocery shopping and such. LOL

I looked back in the stream and finally saw a large pine tree moving in the wind, and could see the wind blowing across some of the open water on the lake. Ugly clouds were scooting across the sky.

The ducks didn’t seem to happy out there. The cam op zoomed in on three that were on the ice, hunkered down. Had to giggle at one when it got up and was slip-sliding on the ice. LOL

We had nice weather yesterday for our visit. Even though Comanche had Fallfest, the lake was still full with people. We were able to hang out in a few spots though.

I also had to dust off the smoke detectors (Simplisafe) because they kept doing false alarms on me. I started running the furnace yesterday with the Frost Advisories and it burned off the dirt underneath it and the detectors assumed it was smoke. It wasn't.

I was awakened the night before and than again last night by the detectors. Simplisafe always call to check to make sure there is no fire when the detectors go off.

Today is also KFC Pick Up Day. We plan on doing Comanche Lake again later today.

Dang, look at that beautiful blue sky. You had a gorgeous day to get out for a romp. I’m jealous! It was dreary and dark, rainy, and foggy here.
A day like you had, it’s no wonder there was a crowd at the lake. It looks like you and Gizmo still had a good time.

I hope all the dirt is burned off your furnace by now so the smoke detectors won’t go off any more.
