New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on Thursday said he is “not having second thoughts” about mandating vaccines for first responders and other city workers ahead of Friday’s 5 p.m. deadline. He predicted many will get vaccinated anyway “once they really realize that they’re not going to get paid.”
When asked about the likelihood of shortages of city workers Monday — from sanitation workers to first responders — the Democrat mayor made it clear he has no regrets.

Here is the point to which we have come.
We are dealing with despotic bullies who have never been challenged. No thanks to our half-ass Republican Party. But because they’ve never been challenged no matter how much they have progressively cross the line, they literally are incapable believing that any of us are going to stand up to them in a we ain’t going to back down way.
This is how wars happen. Being weak and not standing up to the bullies only guarantees that when the final confrontation comes they will not back down.
Unfortunately there’s a veneer of truth here. These cops and city workers have mortgages or rent to pay and mouths to feed. I predict that a lot of them will quietly get the jab.
And we know this vaxxine was developed against a variant of covid that is now virtually nonexistent, is leaky and ineffective at stopping infection and transmission of the mutated Delta variant, is now likely contributing to the mutation of new variants which are even more resistant to vaxxx induced antibodies, and effects of the vaxx within 6 months are either near zero or worse…increasing likelihood of infection

I’ve never paid much attention to all these New York politicians. Until now. This person is human garbage. Unbelievable people actually vote for this type of person. Is it a New York thing to act and sound like a monster?
Why should they back down? The law enforcement apparatus and legal system fully have their backs. Step out of line and find out.
Indeed, when the garbage piles up and all the rats come out of the subway to run wild on the streets, the city will not be pleased with the mayor.

Especially police officers when crime is rising everywhere.
Wait till garbage piles up, fires don’t get put out, and roads don’t get snow cleared.
And the ambulances don’t come, and the hospitals and clinics are closed
