Republican Glenn Youngkin now holds a clear lead over Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia gubernatorial race with five days to go before Election Day, according to a just-released poll.
The Fox News survey showed Youngkin leading McAuliffe by eight percentage points (53-45) among likely voters, with just 2 percent supporting other candidates or undecided.
That represents a dramatic turnaround from just two weeks ago, when the same poll showed McAuliffe with 51 percent support among likely voters, 46 percent supporting Youngkin and 3 percent undecided or supporting other candidates.
Youngkin also leads McAuliffe by a single percentage point (48-47) among all registered voters — a 12-point turnaround from two weeks earlier, when McAuliffe held a 52-41 advantage among registered voters.
The poll also shows more bad news for President Biden, as fewer than half of Virginia’s registered voters (45 percent) now approve of the job he’s doing as president, down six percentage points from just two weeks ago.
On the other hand, 53 percent of registered voters and 56 percent of likely voters disapprove of Biden’s job performance — up from 48 and 49, respectively, in the mid-October survey.

I’m trying to decide which group to believe here: the fraud that will defeat Youngkin or are the Dems throwing it to Youngkin?
These polls serve as a "heads-up" to Stacey Abrams, et al to let them know how many votes they'll need to manufacture. It's like a sales forecast.
It means the Democrats will be finding and counting votes until early December.
Will Faux declare McAuliffe the winner the day before the election?
...and 3am suitcases
It ain’t over until it’s over. With the proven capabilities of the voter fraud mechanisms in place, 15% lead may be just barely enough.
Otherwise the Democrats will continue to demand a recount until the Democrat wins. And of course, the recount will include ballots pulled out from beneath the counting table, the “illegibility” of certain ballots marked “incorrectly” (or simply “lost”) and previously undiscovered names on the voter lists.
And trunks of automobiles
They might need to bring in that woman who scans the same votes multiple times
I agree with you. 5% is just about the margin fraud and that’s even a little on the high end. Youngkin plainly has momentum. I don’t know the geography of Virginia well, but I think London is one of those big northern counties. McAuliffe is going to get slaughtered there. Conservatives are going to turn out in droves. Let’s keep our fingers crossed
‘Dominion’ will probably determine the Governor of the Old Dominion
World but not one thing said about it.
I’m expecting McAwful to be declared the winner”.
Me, too. I’d bet on it.
Could this be an outlier? Some polls are starting to come out with a Youngkin 2 to 4 point lead ...the margin for easy cheating. Still I hold on to some hope he’ll win.. I also thought Newsom was going to lose but as always the Mafia cheating machine was crank to full throttle.
And this poll was taken before Biden’s latest epic leadership fail in Congress and the coming weekend of overseas gaffes. You’ve really hitched your wagon to a star Terry.
My guess is he is up by 8 now, but he will be down by 2 the day after the election.
I no longer trust the elections, everything has become a parody of a third world country
Right... There is nothing like losing to show you are really winning.
It is completely absurd to even entertain the idea of the Libs throwing the election to a Republican, especially in VA. The optics and PR disaster for the Libs would far, far outweigh anything they believe they can do thru the Legislature should Youngkin win.
BUT they cheat, and they have Hillary’s cheating lawyer. Just sayin’...
Just curious. Will you say it is part of the deep strategy of the Left to allow an occasional win by a conservative?
