A surgeon in Minnesota who told the local school board that parents should be the ones to decide whether their children wear masks has been fired from his job.
Dr. Jeffrey Horak appeared before the Fergus Falls school board on October 11, where he told officials that masks should not be ordered, but rather voluntary.
“You mandate this across the road — that’s a tough place to go,” Horak told the board, according to Fox News.
“Who does God put in charge of these kids? Their parents. God gave each one of these kids… to their parents and they speak for them. They may be wrong, they may be dumb, they may be imperfect in their decisions. But it’s still their responsibility. It’s not yours. God gave it to them. Honor their wishes, either side of the fence,” the surgeon reportedly said.
A little more than a week after Horak’s comments, he says he was told his “views were no longer congruent with that of Lake Region Healthcare.” His superiors there said he could resign or be terminated.
I’ve pretty much decided that Corporate medicine is not interested in my health and needs to be canceled.
That’s the kind of surgeon I’d want operating on my kin or me. Someone who understands authority and God’s place in it all.
Sue for wrongful termination.
Why people resign in these circumstances I will never know. it is like saying “Thank you for the beating.” It has to be either threats, payout money, or just plain cowardice.
Sure hope the good doctor made them terminate him.

Agree, and it took little time to arrive at this place, meaning these tyrants were all around us, just waiting for the right time — and the right corrupt Administration that would encourage tyranny.

If his fellow workers don't stand up for him, he would be a pariah. An outnumbered one, which is one more nail in the image of these "esteemed" professionals.
Good luck finding a judge who doesn’t think this is just peachy.
Most healthcare systems or hospitals are chock full of liberals. They love to punish anyone who doesn't tow the line.
Lake Region Healthcare rewards civic duty!
